dislikes about meeee

there are many things i dislike about myself and i am going to tell you

first of all - competitiveness

is that a word? whatever

but i am extremely competitive. like you have no idea. i like winning. idc if people say "this game is just for fun" bc you better know i am going to try to beat you twice in that one game.

you can bet that i will try to beat you in a game where there is no winner. i will beat you in life hand me my trophy. 😂 jk

on a serious note though i seriously hate losing. i know it is probably annoying to people who arent competitive because if you dont care if you win or lose, then me sitting there looking like im about to rip your head off is probably a little annoying.. and possibly terrifying.

i feel like part of why im so competitive is because of my family. like we compete over flippin scrabble on the rare occasions that we play it 😂 and whenever football season comes around we play this game where you have to pick who you think is going to win every game and its flippin competitive because we make it like that. and this year my sister, my dad, and me are doing fantasy football too. we rly need my mom to do it so we can have four ppl ugh. and i can beat her. 😉

personally i dont mind being competitive at all because it gives me more purpose than to just "play a game" but i dont like it because i probably annoy people.

now that we are done with the competition stuff.. we are going to talk about MORE COMPETITION STUFF YAY!
(i have a problem)

two - sports

i flipping love sports and i will always love sports but my liking sports is a difficult thing.

i feel like (most) people cant relate to my love of sports.

like

"hey hanneh what did you do last night"

"oh you know i watched some basketball and then some baseball and then..."

*crickets*
*stops talking*

like i legit get mad at myself when i talk about sports around people that dont like them because i feel like it makes them so uncomfortable.

"whos john wall?"

"he's on the wizards"

"oh is that hockey?"

"no.. its basketball.."

and then it is awkward because i see these people talking about sports in homeroom or something (when im in school obviously) and im just there like

"i hate this awkwardness. can i like not be so nervous to talk to people?"

there actually is ONE person at school that i can talk to about sports whos name is Bob (not his real name, not saying his real name. fight me) but when i do talk to him it isnt usually very long because mr Moose1887. he gets lonely. 😂

but yeah. sports are 👍, but i feel like they put me in extremely awkward social situations. 😶

but i regret watching it sometimes because Moose1887 will message me and i feel bad bc i dont message him back bc i dont see it so it takes me awhile to respond so sorry fren

four - social awkwardness

ahh yes.. dont you just love it.

so when i was getting my haircut yesterday the woman asked how old i was and when i tried to tell her i could not words

literally.

i tried to speak and my voice was like "nope. you gonna look like an absolute idiot today"
*clears throat, says it quietly*
*internally cries for being awkward*

there are probably nice people out there that i can tolerate that prolly think i hate them because of how awkward i am. like they try to talk to me and i just smile like a dork because the moment someone tries to make conversation my mouth just goes on shutdown mode

i honestly dont care if people judge my appearance. like you dont deserve this amazing personality. you can have beautiful people if you dont want to be seem with someone you dont consider attractive them idrc. like if you want to date someone because they are good at applying makeup then SO BE IT.

im not going to go out of my way to look like a different person just to make someone want to FLIPPING DATE ME.

(also. i am not saying that everyone who wears makeup is trying to get attention/people to like them. im just saying that there are some people who are completely sold to date someone based on their physical appearance. so dont think im saying wearing makeup is bad bc that is not what im saying)

BUT

i do care about what people think about me. like i hate seeming like an idiot. i dont want people to think of me like that. i may joke around about being dumb because i understand that people are smarter than me, but i dont want people to think i actually am.

i also hate when people assume that just because someone doesnt take a certain class that most academic people take means they arent smart.

my future consists of art. i dont need biology to take pictures. i dont need biology to draw. i dont need biology to paint. i dont need biology to write stories. i dont need biology to rant. (actually i am ranting about biology so maybe i do) i dont need biology to make video games. WHATCHA GON' DO ABOUT IT!

and the final thing i hate..

I HATE WHEN ADULTS THINK THAT OTHER PEOPLE ARE OLDER THAN ME.

i understand that they may look older than me and whatnot, but when you realize that i am actually older than them, which you probably should have known already, THEN PLEASE STOP ACTING LIKE THEY ARE LIKE 28 AND IM 5. I UNDERSTAND HOW TO DO THINGS AND YOU ARE JUST THERE LIKE "OH YEAH KIMMY (FAKE NAME) YOU ARE ONE OF THE OLDER ONES IN THE CLASS HOW DO YOU FEEL?" UHM EXCUSE ME WHAT.
