Start of the journey

I came back together at the opening to Tartarus. As I finished solidifying I saw a man standing by the opening looking into the pit.

"Hello, I'm Dante ." Dante was tall he had an almost grey complection and from the back of him he had black hair and was carrying a sword and a dagger. He had a chain wrapped around his chest and I could see a dark red and black aura around him. He turned to look at me and I was startled by his eyes. They were a dark red that looked like they were glowing with hate.

"I'm Periculum. I need your help to fin-"

"Yes I know what you want. My question is...Why? Why are you going back?" I was a little shocked. 

"I'm going because, I need to save my friend. She needs gorgon blood and I'm going to get it." Dante just laughed and I couldn't help but wince. It sounded like horrible and indescribable.

"Really? You will go to Tartarus for a friend? And how will this friend repay you?" I growled.

"She won't. She won't even know I came here." He raised and eyebrow.\

"And why is that? Surly you want some recognition. You want her to repay you. You want her to know what you did." He said it all like it was a fact. I felt as if he was saying the truth and I hated that. I realized it was like Ares he made people fight and Dante made people hate something. He was trying to make me hate Lux. I wasn't going to let that happen.

"No. I don't care. If she finds out, fine.I would prefer she never knew. I don't care what happens as long as I save my friends." He just nodded.

"Very well. You are determined, but can you jump?" He stepped aside and Gesture to the pit.

"Yes." With that I ran and Jumped into the pit.

Soon I was joined by Dante.

"So you are either a fool or a hero." I looked at him and couldn't help but smile.

"I like to think I'm a little bit of both." He just laughed and did a flip in the air.

"This is always the fun part. Come on." With that he angled himself and dropped faster and I followed. We started doing flips and just enjoying ourselves. 

"So Dante, How many times have you been to Tartarus?" He turned to me and laughed and now his laugh wasn't as bad. It was a little more human.

"Man, I live there." I laughed and we just kept doing flips. Finally we could see the inky redness that showed we were almost there.

"Dante, how are we landing?" He just gestured to this big pond of water we were falling towards.

"Just land in that. Also when we land we need to talk." I just nodded and we hit the water and what would kill a normal human. As we came up we were both laughing and now Dante sounded like a normal person. 

"Okay Dante, what did you want to talk about?" He looked at me and gestured for me to walk with him to his house. When we got in it reminded me of my cabin. It was exactly the same just different colors.

"Like the house? Landon made it for me." I nodded and we sat down on the couch.

"So?" He looked at me and then nodded.

"Right, If i'm going to help you I need some of your powers." I looked at him and he just sighed.

"Look. I have to make a deal. Give me say 10 powers and I will take you there. You have to find your way out." I thought about all the powers I had after the blessings and decided he was worth them.

"Okay, Do I get to choose the powers?" He nodded. I thought for a second and decided I could use him the entire trip.

"If I give you twenty will you stay get me out as well?" He looked shocked at first and then nodded.

"Sure Kid. If you can get me 20 powers I will get you out safely." I nodded and decided I was going to get rid of my ability to see auras, The gift of prophecy, being able to call the sun chariot, war strategies, turning into a wolf, plant growth, summoning grained food,summoning drinks, control over vines, black smithing, read minds, thievery, travel safety, turning into an eagle, water control, creating earth quakes, creating hurricanes, speaking to sea animals, speaking to horses, and mind control. 

"How do I give them to you?" He reached his hand out and I nodded.

"Think of the powers and giving them to me." I did and I felt that power leaving my body. I smiled at him and he looked shocked.

"Kid how much power do you have?" I shrugged.

"I still have like thirty powers left." He shook his head.

"Okay kid, let's get packed." We packed got some rest before we headed out. When we woke up we got ready and walked out. Before we left though Dante said we had to talk again.

"What's up Dante?" He looked a little nervous. 

"Well, in order to survive I'm gonna have to bless you." I shrugged.

"Go for it Tartarus." He looked shocked again.

"Wait you knew who I was the entire time?" I shook my head.

"No. I figured it out last night when we were talking." He nodded and put his hand on my head.

"Okay my blessing won't do much but make sure you can breathe." I nodded and we headed out into the pit.
