Sick Days

"Ug, What's wrong with me?" I felt absolutely miserable. My head was pounding, my throat was sore, my nose wouldn't stop running, my muscles burned and I was freezing. I hope this is just a cold and it will be over soon. I tried to stand and make my way to my bathroom for water but half way there I feel on my face and couldn't bring my self to get up. So, that's where I was when Nico came to wake me up. 

"Why are you on the ground Percy?" I groaned and tried to roll over only to find my arms didn't want to move.

"I think i'm sick." I groaned out and Nico burst out laughing.

"How did you get sick?" I groaned as I finally managed to roll onto my back. Nico laid on the floor next to me and just stared at the roof for a while. 

"I went swimming yesterday and I guess because I was thought dead the sea doesn't recognize me so I got sick." I managed to croak out. I tried to sit up only to fall back down with a groan.

"What do you want Perce?" I smiled at Nico before pulling myself into a sitting position on my elbows.

"Water." Nico nodded and walked out of my room to I'm guessing the kitchen. He came back a few minuets later with a glass of water.

"Try and get some sleep Perce it will help." I nodded and laid in bed for a few hours trying to sleep but didn't succeed. Finally I called Nico in and said he'd talk to Phoebe and try to get sleeping pills. A while later he came back with a bottle and more water.

"I don't know how much to give you so I grabbed the whole bottle." I nodded and Nico helped me sit up which sent me into a coughing fit as Nico rubbed circles on my back. I slowly regained my breath and took the water and bottle of pills from him. I looked at the bottle then to Nico as I couldn't read the bottle.

"Phoebe said it was a sleeping pill. She said that if you slept you would get better. I don't know how much to give you and Phoebe left and went to the store, sorry." I nodded and opened the bottle to see little blue pills. I took one of them and then had Nico help me up. He then took me to the front room and laid me on the coach and went and got some pillows and blankets. When He came back I could feel my eyes drooping but I couldn't fall asleep. I sighed and took another one when suddenly there was a little fluffy ball in the middle of the room.

"Nico, do you see the pink fluffy ball?" I refused to take  my eyes off of it in fear it would move.

"Percy are you okay? Hold on, let me check side effects.......Yup, hallucinations. Percy, what are you doing?" I looked at him and realized I was trying to grab the puff ball.

"Can you hand it to me? It looks really- and now there's another one." I sighed and tried to grab the other one because it was closer to me when Phoebe came bursting through the door with her arms full and a bright pink puppy behind her. I stared at her as she made her way to the kitchen when I heard the dog bark and suddenly it was a giant pink unicorn.

"Phoebe, we need to talk." I heard Nico say as I reached forward to pet the unicorn.......it looked so fluffy.

"Phoeb, where did you find a unicorn? Does it have a name? Neeks, the puff balls are multiplying. Why are you whispering? GUys, there is a purple wolf now..........I feel sick." I turned in time to see Phoeb glare at Neeks and come back by my side. I smiled a half smile that actually turned into some weird smile that made Phoeb giggle.

"Percy, Nico gave you some medicine that made you hallucinate. I'm thinking it's because you're a demi-god. I need you to stay here for a minute. I'm going to make soup and Nico is going to call Hades and Hecate okay?" I nodded and started laughing at the monkey on her back. I turned back to the unicorn only to find it gone. I frowned and then realized one of the puff balls was by the training room.
