Percy leaves camp and meets people who change his life. He gains family and friends he never thought he would. But what happens when part of his family starts turning against him?
We reappeared in the throne room of Chronos's home and standing in front of us were Hades, Hecate, and Tyche. I turned to Chronos with a confused look on my face before asking my question.
"Um, Chronos, none of my patrons are here. Where are they?" Chronos turned to Tyche with a questioning look on his face.
"Nemesis is unavailable at this time and will be for the first three years." Now I was really confused.
"Why?" Tyche took a deep breath and pointed to herself and then to Nico.
"Because as much as we would love to be around each other we are order and disorder. Nemesis can only be in my presence for so long before she is in immense pain and I am the same. So adding that I have a champion makes it worse. She says that when I am done training Nico she can come and train you unless other arrangements are made to accommodate her condition." The last sentence was pointed to Chronos who nodded and then started rubbing his chin. I sighed dragging the attention to me.
"What is it child?" I smiled to Hecate and then turned back to Chronos.
"He is going to be like that for a while. Let's sit and talk." So we did and true to my prediction Chronos stayed where he was for a good fifteen minutes. We were in the middle of a conversation when Chronos came out of his thoughts with a scream of delight.
"Aha!!! I know, we can have Nemesis train Percy for the first three years and Hemera will train Nico for the first three years. Theeeeeeennnnn, Tyche you come and train Nico while the fates are training Percy and the other two train with Hemera. I've cleared it with Hemera and Nemesis says that if you agree she is good with that. SOOOOO?" I turned to Tyche expectantly. She nodded and then smiled at Nico.
"I will see you in three years my champion. Training with Hemera is good for you. It will help you get in touch with your lighter parts." Nico nodded and bowed as she prepared to flash out. We closed our eyes and when we opened them Nemesis was there instead. I smiled at her and she smiled back though it was a little strained. I would have to ask about that later.
"Okay so now that that is taken care of I can issue new swords for everyone. Yes, even you Blackjack. Your patrons will teach you how to use them to funnel your power. They are made of different metals made to help you channel your powers. Blackjack, your sword is made of Stygian iron and Atlantian silver. This will help with powers from Hades and from Poseidon.(The blue and black one). Phoebe, yours is made of Nemisia and Hecatmetal(Heck-at-metal). Hecate makes it with magic so it is purple. The Nemisia (Ne-me-she-a)is from your mother and will help you channel your anger into power.(The red and purple one) Nico, yours is made of Stygian iron, Hecatmetal, and Tychalian(tie-call-e-an) metal. The iron for Hades, Hecatmetal for Hecate and the Tychalian for Tyche. (The black, purple, and green one)Now, Percy, you have two swords, one for your parents and one for your patrons. Now I have to warn you, you are not considered a child of the sea to most so you won't have Atlantian silver you will however have a metal made by the fates. Now, the first sword is for parents so Stygian iron and Hecatmetal. Your second is made of Nemisia and several metals by the facts, Clothoan(clo-tho-an), Lachesisian(beats me how to say that), and Atroposian(at-tro-po-sian).(the Purple and black and the greys and red one). Now you may go and start your training.
