Put on our favorite song,
tune it just right on the radio.
Go about trying to sing along,
smiling with hands held tight,
Holding our breathes,
to savor the taste of our lips.
Glance at one another; make a photograph,
Let it just stay in our minds.
Keep close as I drive,
keep warm, feeling my heart beat with yours.
Knowing that we are both alive.
I can see your eyes Let the heater, warm us
let the cold outside stay out there,
from the shine of the headlights;
their just as bright as the stars in the sky.
Grasp me close, let this last as long as it can.
We'll drive all night if we have too,
Let the gas hit "E" and settle in the backseat.
Sleep right under me, I'll hold in my arms,
We'll make this photograph, burn in our heads.
We'll see the morning together, but the sun won't shine,
like your smile that you make when we set on eachother.
Into the night, with our song,
the wheels turning on the road,
Sweet memories made on each turn;
We'll relive them all again and again.
