Daniela Winters was the typical popular high-school girl who was adored and hated at the same time and by the same people. She made girls cringe with envy and left boys gawking with their jaws dropped, when she passed by. Her life was all about perfect hair, nail polish and stilettos.
Little did she pause to care about anything else besides herself. All that was required to make her life virtually satisfactory were her good looks and charms.
Her friends were other popular kids on the top of the highschool social hierarchy, teachers naturally excused her for her lack of interest in academics because she was pretty and popular, her parents were never too interfering, and her boyfriend was an example of a typical die-for fictional boyfriend.
Life couldn't have been better for Daniela. She was born to inherit the blessing of perfection.
However, that winter, her entire world was turned upside down.
She never would've guessed things could change so much at once - that everything she had ever lived of and for could turn out to be a lie, that her life could hold so many secrets, neatly bound since even before she was born.
And it all started when she first saw the man outside her house.
Daniela Winters had grabbed her gym bag and was heading to the gym for her routine winter workout, when she saw him.
The man was looking at her too, and it was then that Daniela realised that she had somehow . . . .seen him somewhere before. She stared, trying to figure out how could he be a part of her memory.
"Do we . . . .know each other?" She asked, faltering slightly.
"I don't know about you, but I do know you." The man smiled a mysterious smile.
Daniela looked at him as he casually walked down the street, his back to her, and she couldn't help feeling . . . .something . . . .something, she couldn't even explain to herself.
And it was from that moment that Daniela's life changed forever.
