So, to start of with, look at the Diamond Rose is facing. A lot of people seem to like thinking that this gem is Pink Diamond. Well, if it was Pink Diamond, the figure would be tinted pink, right? Well, its not pink tinted, it is white tinted. My theory, is that Rose did something to keep White Diamond out of commission for a while, thus explaining why she has yet to be seen. Also, I believe that Pink Diamond sided with Rose and, amidst the fighting, got poofed or shattered during the fight, thus leading to her removal from the diamond authority crest, symbol, thingy. And the last part of this, how Pearl "became" Rose's. I believe that after Rose beat White Diamond, Pearl either sided with Rose in awe of her power or was "rescued" from White Diamond by Rose.

So... Uhh.. As of "Back to the Moon" it was proven that Rose shattered, Pink diamond.. So, to some degree there is proof...
