So, I had been thinking about what Peridot had said a while back, about Amethyst being a quartz and how she should have been taller and stronger, when it hit me. Home World created quartz gems to be used as warriors! If we look at how Rose had been a warrior, the geological classification of amethyst being a type of quartz, and the geological classification of jasper as a type of quartz (and how she is a warrior), it only makes sense that quartz were made to be warriors.
Hope this made sense, I didn't really plan out what to write. Also, I give credit to Wikipedia for the geological classification of amethyst and jasper.
