The Trial Theory

WARNING:CONTAINS SPOILERS FOR THE TRIAL

So... So I had a theory... But it has, quite unfortunately, slipped my mind... Ill be back in a moment...

Ah! That's right! (Actully, my forgetfulness plays well into this theory.)

In one of the newest episodes, "The Trial", when Zircon is making Steven's proper defense argument, we get an encounter as follows.

Z (Zircon): "... Where were Pink Diamond's attendants? Her Agates? Her Sapphires? And where was her Pearl."

YD (Yellow Diamond): "They were with her of course, they saw the whole thing!" It is worth noting that she shouted this angrily.

Z: "But none of them saw Rose Quartz approach? Wouldn't her Sapphires have seen Rose Quartz coming? Wouldn't her Agates have tried to fight her off?"

YD: "She must have slipped past them!" Blatantly trying everything to get Steven executed

Z: "Even if she did, wouldn't her Pearl have cried out in alarm? 'Waaatch oouuut myyy Diiiaaamooond!' No. Whoever did this was already close to PD (Pink Diamond). Someone her guards would allow to get near her... (talks about people allowed near PD)...
And someone with the authority to cover it up afterwards! Someone with supreme authority, Someone like one of you!" At which point Z turns around and points at the Diamonds.

At this accusation, Blue Diamond is shocked, whereas YD keeps a straight face, stands up, and poofs Z.

(Now speaking in Z's voice) she knew Z was on to something. She KNEW she had figured it out. YD, well know as the Diamond to disregard any lower life for her own satisfaction. She knew that PD wouldn't let her put the Cluster in earth, so she got rid of her.

YD, as we know, is ruthless. She will eliminate anyone who opposes her. Who's to say that she didn't threaten to shatter Rose if she didn't shatter PD?!

I rest my case.

YD is guilty to the charge of shattering PD!
