SPOILER ALERT FOR THOSE WHO HAVE NOT SEEN "MONSTER REUNION"
So, this popped into my head while Centi was drawing the pictures to Steven. A few things that had really stood out was that A. Her commander sorta had a "Yellow Diamond" air about her, B. She drew a big flash of light, and C. Right after Steven asked where the light came from, Centi drew the new Diamond Authority symbol. These three things all led to the Diamonds being able to corrupt other gems in my mind. This makes sense, because having your own allies turned evil and attempting to kill you would definitely deter me from rebellion.
That's pretty much it, I hope it was enjoyable and keep a look out for more!
New addition: watching it again, Pearl said,"I guess it'll take more than a kiss to heal damage from the Diamonds." That's enough to make me consider this theory, Proven!
