Prologue

"Leilani , have you seen Damarcus? " my mom asked as I was watching the best episode of SpongeBob.

"No I haven't seen that jerk since yesterday." I answered with an attitude.

My 'brother' beat up my boyfriend because he gave me a promise ring on our two year anniversary, he said I was to young for marriage but he promised I would be his wife. That was before the grinch lonely ass aka Demarcus Leon Bates ruined it by beating him up, matter of fact he snuck him because he was too scared to call Giovanni out for his one. That only ended with Giovanni dumping me through a text just a few hours later saying he was "scared" of what might happen come the day he would actually propose.

"He was just protecting you Leilani. " she said with a slight sigh.

"Mom I'm thirteen I can protect myself even if I couldn't I had Giovanni to protect me," I argued.

"Giovanni is seventeen years old ,and he left you because he was scared of your brother. What if someone much worse than Demarcus tried to hurt you?" she sat down next to me.

"He didn't want to hurt Demarcus because he's my brother, Giovanni would break someone's bones if they hurt me!"

Which is true, one time this guy stepped on the shoes Giovanni bought me and he ended up in the hospital with a cracked skull, broken ribs, a broken leg, and a broken nose.

"I know your upset but I know Demarcus loves you and he just wants to protect you, I just want him home." A tear streamed down her cheek.

I huffed, "Whatever." I got up going straight to my room.

Damarcus knew how much Giovanni meant to me, he knew our age difference meant nothing to me but of course Damarcus destroyed my happiness because he's going to end up dying alone.

I slammed my room door plopping on the bed. I felt my phone vibrate and i got excited when I saw 'My Everything 💍💑' across the screen.

"I miss you baby girl," I could hear the crack in his voice. He's been crying!

"I miss you too daddy, please take me back I can't live without you!" I cried.

"You always mine baby, I could never be without you for too long." I could hear how serious he was and all I could do was smile.

"Come get me its too depressing in here," I said while biting my bottom lip.

"Aight baby, im on my way" he said before hanging up.

I got up and started looking for something to wear.

"I want my baby to drool when he sees me" I said with a smirk.

I put on a royal blue long sleeve Tommy Hilfiger half shirt, some white booty shorts, and my Royal blue timberlands. I left my hair down cause that's how daddy likes it 😏. Then I brushed my teeth, flossed, and put on some lip gloss.

After almost ten minutes I heard a horn and I grabbed my phone running downstairs.

"Where are you going Lani?" my mom asked with a worried look.

"Out." was all I said before running outside getting in the car.

I leaned over giving Giovanni a passionate kiss before driving off,
"Somebody's happy to see daddy," he smirked.

I put my hand on 'Jr' watching how he licked his lips, "Yes I really missed daddy."

I smirked before putting my hand in his pants rubbing 'Jr'.
