CHAPTER THIRTEEN

Arnold's POV

Finally I can't still believe that the aloof Jake Angelo is finally my friend, I haven't gotten enough sleeps since all night I kept on thinking about him and checking his Facebook account.

Since Jake mentioned to me that he have work the following day I decided to drop by to his work late afternoon since I don't want to be a bother with his job since he might decide to break our friendship just because I annoyed him.

It felt like it's the longest day in my life seeing that it's just ten in the morning when I woke up, I finished my breakfast, took a shower and brushed my teeth.

Eleven in the morning

I still have enough time so I decided to clean my place up and after two hours I was able to clean the whole unit and when I looked in the clock I saw that it's just twelve in the afternoon.

I did some pushed up and jogged in place while my eyes keeps on staring at the wall clock and it's driving me nuts seeing that it's just twelve thirty pm.

I turned on the tv and tuned in to Eat Bulaga. Watching this variety show somehow lose my boredome specially seeing the Jose and Wally tandem doing their comical acts.

TWO PM

Finally I can already prepare my self and go to Jake's work, I took a bath again, brushed my teeth, checked my closet and choose what to wear until I decided to for a blue checkered long sleeve, gray semi skinny pants and my black chuck taylor shoes, I sprayed some CK perfume and after checking my reflection and got satisfied with what I'm seeing, I went down to the parking lot of the building and ride my black Audi.

"I can't wait to invite him to watch a movie. What movie should we watch?" I asked myself and in the middle of my thinking I felt my phone vibrated and saw my mom calling.

"Arnold, where are you?" she said after I answered her call.

"On my way to the mall, wazz up?" I said still focus in my driving, eyes in the road.

"I need you to go home right now, it's urgent." she said seriously which made me a little nervous since my mom only uses that tone if it's really serious.

Even though it's against my will I decided to make a U turn and went straight to our house in Wakwak San Juan.

I keep of thinking of a reason why will my mom ask me to go home right away and finally after a thirty minutes drive I saw our subdivision and after parking my car I stepped out and went inside.

"Mom?" I shouted.

"I'm here in my room!" she shouted back.

I saw her seating on the edge of her bed all seriousness in her face and she motioned me to seat down on a couch on the right.

"Is there a problem?" I asked her looking at her serious expression.

I saw how she took a really deep breath as if trying to weigh something which made me more nervous than what I felt earlier.
