CHAPTER NINETEEN

Arnold's POV

I was awaken because of the ray of sun passing through my venetian blind, I feel recharged after getting eight hours of sleep and I felt a smile formed in my lips seeing the sleeping form of Jake still lying in my arms and it felt so right to see him lying beside me as if that is where he should be, waking up next to Jake feels so right.

As much as I don't want to move because I might actually wake him up, I really need to get out of bed so I can prepare breakfast for both of us, so very slowly I removed him from my arm and luckily he just moved a little after than but didn't wake up.

I went to my kitchen and started frying some eggs and bacons and put slices of bread on my toaster and for the drinks I squeezed five oranges and after ten minutes I'm quite happy seeing the fruit of my hardwork.

"Pat yourself in the back Arnold." I said to myself.

"Arnold?" I heard Jake called and saw him getting inside the kitchen, hair kind of messy which made him look so sexy, and his top pj is a little dishiveled showing a little bit of skin in his chest and I gathered all self control in me for me not to abandon what I am doing and just eat him for breakfast.

"Why did you leave the bed, I'm about to give you a breakfast in bed." I said and gave him a quick kiss on his lips.

"It's just that I felt that I'm alone in bed and when I saw your side empty I started looking for you." he said looking so refreshed.

So instead of having a breakfast in bed meal we just decided to take our breakfast in the kitchen.

"This is actually good." he said as if he is really enjoying it.

"You can't be serious, right?" I said laughing when I tasted the egg that I cooked because it's so salty, plus the bacon is a little burnt, the only thing that is quite ok is the toasted bread that I prepared since I don't need expertise just to operate it.

"Well for me, it's perfect." Jake said looking at me foundly.

We decided to watch a movie since we still have time before Jake needs to go to work while me on the other hand have practise later this afternoon.

I'm not so sure what movie does Jake normally watch so I just settled with Titanic since who doesn't like this movie.

Lights turned off while we're seating the couch on my floor, my arms around him while his back is in my chest, I can smell the soap that he uses after taking a bath and I gathered all self control not to take him there and then.

I looked at the side of his face and saw that his full attention is with the movie that is playing at the moment and I was surprised when I saw a single tear dropped from his right eye.

"Did you cry?" I taunted him, while tickling his side, and I saw him giggled which is really cute.

"Excuse me? Of course not! I just yawned." he said trying to escape from my tickling.

"Yeah right." I said laughing trying to catch him.

Finally I caught him and since I caught him off guard we lose our balance which made me lie on my back on the floor while he on the other hand is in a prone position, I can feel his rapid heartbeat to my chest.
