Joining the Party

"Another challenge accepted!" You shouted at him, finger pointed at him sharply as a huge smile graced your face. You subconsciously puffed out your chest in a way of showing some form of dominance. Subaru just bit his lip, trying to subside his laughs and this only made you blush and glare at him.

You began trudging towards him angrily, but he just smiled at you, not moving a single muscle. As you noticed you began to lose confidence, but continued nonetheless. This is no time to give up now. You thought as you got closer and closer to him, your feet no longer touching the bottom of the pool, making you swim. Well this was not well thought out. Why did he have to go in the deep end of the pool? This was making you look ridiculous.

But as you were only a few inches away from your lover you heard a booming voice echo throughout the room. "Hey! You teaching Y/N-chan how to swim?" You stopped paddling and snapped your head towards the voice only to see a smirking Laito, hands deep in his pockets as he walked closer to the edge of the pool.

You glanced at Subaru and saw him glare at his older brother, not saying a word. His jaw was clenched tightly, obviously angered. He bent forward a bit, staring at you.

"May I join in?"
