The first day of school sucks.I was bored already,The only class I liked so far was with Mr.Matthews.But right now it's lunch period so..Freedom at last.
"Interesting lunch dilemma"Farkle said and smirked at Riley,who smiled at him.
"Sloppy joe...or chicken pot pie..sloppy joe..or chicken pot pie-"
"Really?"I asked and he nodded.I began to eat my Sloppy joe,Riley had chicken pot pie.
"Same time tomorrow"Farkle said and went to sit down at a nerd table.
"What was that about?"I asked Riley and she looked down and smiled a bit.
"He always did that to me and Maya back in middle school"Riley said and looked at me.
"You and Maya..were Friends?"I asked."What changed?"
"I don't know..She kinda started to..We just drifted apart"Riley said and continued to eat her chicken pot pie.
"I see you don't want to talk about it"I said.Riley just looked at me with her big brown eyes.
"Maya...She was the one who changed"Riley said."She said she needed some time for herself..away from RileyTown-"
"RileyTown?"I asked and laughed."What is RileyTown!"
"It's just..something we used to do as friends"Riley said.Tense.
I decided to not bring back the topic and Riley smiled at me.
"Wanna hang out at topangas today?"Riley asked."I'll text you the address-"
"With Farkle right?"I asked and she nodded.Although she looked disappointed
"Oh yeah..we'll invite him too"Riley said and I smiled.
"Sure"I said."I'll see you at..6?"
"Yeah"Riley smiled."I love it"
