I ran and tried to catch up to Maya.It wasn't that hard,even thought I'm wearing high heels.I stopped her,the night was cold,the streets were empty,Maya turned around and wiped her tears..Wait..what?
"Peaches..Are you crying?"I asked And Maya chuckled.
I don't get it,Maya hart never cries,especially for a boy.
Is Lucas really that special to her?
"No...my eyes are just sweating"Maya said,trying to come up with an excuse.
I looked at and crossed my arms."Maya..please don't lie to me"
"I'm not..crying..I never cry"Maya said and wiped off the tears and smiled."Okay
.maybe I am but I don't know why-"
"Because Lucas is a jerk"I said and smiled at her."Boys are stupid..aren't they?"
"Yes..they are"Maya said and we both hugged.We laughed then let go after a long time.
"Are you finally coming to visit RileyTown again after your 3 years of vacation?"I asked and laughed.Maya looked at me as if she was thinking.She smiled.
"Never again..."Maya smiled."Would we let a stupid boy come between us,and yes,I am coming back to visit...Friends?"
"Best friends"I said and smiled.I felt happier then ever at this moment.
"Forever?"Maya asked and i nodded.
