Queen Toriel covered her ears, trying to block out the cries as her king ended the life of a human child. With one final slash of his spear the thrown room fell silent. "It's done" he says coldly, making her sigh as she stood from her hiding place. "Asgore this has to stop!" She cries, looking broken. "This is the only way. The only way to get back to the surface" he says. "There has to be another way! A peaceful way!" She yells, suddenly enraged. "Tori, you know there isn't. The humans to do things peacefully! This pathetic human will aid in our escape!" He shoots back. "How... HOW CAN YOU SAY THAT WHEN THAT CHILDS BLOOD IS NOT EVEN COLD!" She shrieks, turning away. "Tori..." He says weakly. "NO! I won't stand by your side for this! In fact, ILL STOP YOU!" She cries, running. "TORIEL!" He yells, watching as she bolted from the thrown room. He sighs, falling heavily on his thrown. "Uh, King dreamurr sir" a voice pipes up. Gaster, a tall skeleton in a black lab coat, steps into the light. "The soul extraction coffin is finished" he says, fixing his glasses. "Good, I'll need six more" Asgore says flatly. "S-six! Asgore I don't think I ca-" "I DONT WANT EXCUSES! Just...just get it done" he sighs, shooing Gaster away. Gaster nods, rushing out. "How am I gonna get this done... AHA! That's it!" He thinks to himself, rushing down to his laboratory. He wouldn't be able to create that many coffins alone, but he could with help. "I'll...just...grow...one" he mumbles, scribbling down his plans on a piece of paper. Finally he held up the blue prints for what appeared to be a skeleton. The name 'sans' was written on top. "This will be simple" he laughs, leaving to gather what he needed...
"Huh? What is it kid?" Sans says, looking down at you. You nervously ask if you can ask him a...personal question. He looks at you, giving a weak smile. "Sure thing kiddo" he responds, watching you closely. You ask him if he's ever had a dad or a mom. He filches, trying to hide his surprise at the question. "Uh...ah, oh well. I guess it was a matter of time till you asked, huh" he chuckles. "No mom, but I did have a... A sort of dad. But it was a long time ago" he says, looking sad. You ask him what he was like, and why sans was so sad. "Oh, you want to know about him? Well kid it's...kinda on the personal side" he says nervously. You sigh, disappointed. "Alright alright, I'll tell you, okay? Just quit looking so sad. And promise you won't tell anyone" he laughs. You jump with excitement, sitting down and staring up at him eagerly. "Well, I'd have to start on the day I was born. This stories kinda...intense kiddo. You sure your up for this?" He says, reluctant. You nod vigorously. "Okay okay, so it starts like this..."
