Anastasia's POV
"Anastasia Madeline Valentina Lexington, guilty of charges of killing five hundred sixty-nine people. That includes four royals," the judge glared at me sourly, standing up at his seat. "Why do you even bother?" I sighed, crossing my arms in annoyance. It was the day of my trial, the day to see if I was going to die. Queen Madeline, King Jonathan, Fallon, and Sophia were present, with the spirits of my mother and father.
"Well, Judge Peters, all of your claims are correct. Tell me, Sir, do you agree that Fallon, Marco, Luis, and Ashton are the four most important people alive?" The judge frowned, a bit confused by what I had stated, waving me to go on. "Had I not killed those people, those four would be dead today. Alas, I cannot kill Ashton since he is an heir."
"Silence!" The judge slammed his wooden mallet on the table. "Queen Madeline, what have you to say?"
"Kevin, Anne may have killed all of those people, but she did it for the people, and for the royals. That explains for her killings at the Kay Stadium, three years ago. She is not guilty."
"King Jonathan?"
"My wife is correct, although I realize now that Anne has yet to hurt our family. Although my kingdom has had the most amounts of death and from the massacre, I vote that she is not guilty.
"Prince Fallon?"
"Are you seriously asking me to testify against my fiancé?" Fallon crossed his arms, sighing. "Ana did it all for the greater good. She is not guilty!"
"Er... Princess Sophia?"
"Anne had done nothing wrong. She may have killed, and owed lives, but she did it for the royals. Wouldn't you?"
"Uh, yes I would, Princess." The man swallowed; sweat building up on his forehead. "Annabelle Lexington?"
"Kevin, let my daughter go. She did not kill for entertainment. If you should blame anyone, blame Skylar Walker. She sent my daughter to an insane asylum. Let's see you grow up there at age six."
"Um, George Lexington?"
"If you killed five hundred people to save the royal families, would you want to be put to death?"
"No?"
"Judge Peters, by final count, you are the only one against me. Is it really fair then? I really don't want my head to get chopped off. Then the Eastern kingdom doesn't have a queen." The judge sighed, defeated.
"By the law and trial. Anastasia Madeline Valentina Lexington is free and is not guilty of all crimes committed.
I gave the judge a curt nod, before quickly leaving the room, thankful that I would not be put to death. "Thank you all, " I swallowed, turning towards the Eastern royal family.
"No, thank you for saving our son." King Jonathan smiled, patting my shoulder.
"Just do me a favor, Anne."
"What is it, Queen Madeline?"
"Make some babies alright? I want to be a grandma." My cheeks heated up, flushing bright red while Fallon groaned.
"Mom!"
