--Next Day--

I woke up feeling much, much better than I had felt yesterday. I could actually get up without stumbling over because of a headache. "Juuustin..." I laid my chin on his chest and stared at him. "Whatttt?" He mumbled. "G’Morning!" I exclaimed. He looked at me from under his eyelids. I smiled. "Hey baby. How are you feeling?" He placed his hands on the small of my back. "Better than I felt yesterday.." I sniffled. "Good. That means I can kiss you again soon." He grinned. "So what should we do today?" He asked. I shrugged. "I don't really feel like going out.. I'm still sick." "Mkay. We'll stay home then. I'm okay with that." "Are you sure? I don't wanna bore you." He chuckled and said, "Bore me? Mels, seriously?" "Well, I dunno.. You came here to have fun with your family... And so far, I've done nothing but make you stay with me." "I am having fun. But I also want to spend the holidays with you." I stared at him. He smiled. "Trust me, babe. I'm not bored with you."

I was peacefully resting my eyes when Justin burst into the room. "Mels, Becca.. Becca, she- she-" My eyes widened and I jumped up. "Let's go!" I put on my YMCMB sweatshirt, grabbed my phone, and pulled him out the door. Pattie, Ryan, Chaz, and Becca were already waiting in the car. As soon as we were settled, we took off. Me: "Does it hurt?" I stared at Becca's stomach. Becca: "Not really.. Only during the- OW! ... Contractions." I cringed when she did that. Me: "So is this really it?" Becca: "I dunno. But I'm pretty sure.." During the car ride, the contractions became more frequent. It scared me to see Becca in pain. At first, before I knew anything about babies, I thought the baby would be affected, but I'd learned in the midst of baby training with Becca that it'd be normal. Me: "You doing okay?" She heaved in a breath and nodded. Becca: "Can you please drive faster, Pattie?" Pattie: "Okay. Sorry sweetie." Ryan cringed as Becca squeezed his hand in another contraction. At the same time, I winced and Justin held my hand.

After what seemed like a trip to the North Pole, we finally made it. Justin and Ryan helped Becca into the hospital while Pattie, Chaz, and I gathered our belongings. When we got in, they were still waiting in line at the check-in desk, with Becca in a wheelchair beside them. The nurses looked to be in no hurry and it was annoying me. Finally, after like twenty minutes, Becca was wheeled up to the desk. Turns out a whole lot of paperwork was needed. We sat through the painful half hour of waiting for Pattie to fill it out. When she finally freakin' finished, we pushed Becca back up to the desk. Again, the nurse took her freakin' time to make freakin' copies of the freakin' paperwork. She pulled open a drawer and grabbed a few wristbands, beginning to write Becca's name and identification number on them. "Okay," She said after a couple minutes. "Just take a seat and we'll call you up when we're ready. Oh, and put the wristbands on." MORE WAITING?! I looked around at the others. They seemed to be just fine. I am impatient, and so is Justin, but why isn't he annoyed of all this waiting? Millions of years later, Becca was finally called up. Okay, it wasn't that long but it sure felt like it. "Rebecca B.?" A nurse called out. Ryan calmly stood and wheeled over to the nurse. She said something to him, and he nodded. Then they began walking down the hall. After two hours of endless toe-tapping, magazine page-flipping, and the low buzz of the television hanging up in the corner, we were finally called up by another nurse. "The baby wasn't born yet, but Ms. Rebecca has requested you to be in the room until that has happened." We nodded. "Come with me." She led us down the hall, up the elevator, down another hall, and then Becca's room. The nurse knocked, and a few moments later, Ryan opened the door. Nurse: "There you go." She smiled and let us in then left. Ryan took his seat next to Becca. Me: "Hey girlie. How are you doing?" "Fine," She smiled weakly. "The contractions are coming at shorter intervals, though. The nurse said that the process can speed up in a click, or just gradually get to the point." I nodded. Me: "You nervous?" Becca: "Nervous? No. Scared of the pain? Hell yes." I laughed. During the, like, seventh wait today, we all took turns feeling the baby. We got into a light discussion about who would be the Godparents of the baby. Since Becca's only sister was four, and her brothers weren't old enough, she wanted me to be baby MariCris' godmother. Although, I think she just wanted me to be it. Whether her siblings were too young or not. Ryan, however, had an older brother whom I used to have a huge crush on and Ryan decided to pick him. Yeahhh... After another hour, Becca's contraction intervals shortened to two minutes. When the time came, the nurses escorted everyone but Ryan out. Justin: "Do you think, when you have a baby, that our experience will be different?" I smiled. "Of course. All parents' experiences are different. And you'll be there with me, just like Ryan, right?" He grabbed my hand and kissed it. "Yeah. I wouldn't miss it for the world."

Another hour of waiting. Ugh. But we made it through. I was just about to fall asleep on Justin's lap when a nurse came out. She smiled down at us since we were sitting on the floor. "How is she doing? And the baby?" I sat up curiously. Nurse: "They're both fine. The baby is healthy and Rebecca is perfectly normal." Me: "Can we see them?" She nodded. I was the first one up and over to the door. I slowly walked in, and found a happy Ryan, a tired-looking Becca, and best of all, a little bundle of blankets in Becca's arms. I squealed and came over. "Oh my gosh! She's adorable!" Ryan and Becca smiled. "Thanks." "Can I hold her?!" Becca laughed and handed her over. "Hey, little MariCris!" I smiled at her. She started crying. Justin: "Babe, what'd you do?" He grinned. I laughed. "Nothing! Gosh." I gave her back to Becca. Becca: "Oh, it's okay, baby... Shhhh, momma's here." I smiled at them. So cute! We stayed in the hospital until the visitor hours ended. Which meant we were pretty much there for the whole day. By the time we got back to Jeremy's house, it was 9:30pm. "Gosh she's so cute." I sniffled as I got into Justin's bed. Being sick, waiting all day, and holding the baby really drained the energy out of me. Justin climbed over me. Justin: "I know.. She's gonna be hot when she's older." I rolled my eyes. Me: "Sure, you'd be thinking about that." Justin: "I was just saying! It's not like I'd have some sort of attraction towards her. That'd be weird. And disturbing. And gross. I ain't a child molester or something." I laughed. "Besides, I'd be worrying about my own child by the time she's grown." Me: "How do you know we'd have a child? What if I can't have a baby?" He shrugged. "I don't. But I do know we'd try to." He grinned. Me: "AFTER marriage, correct?" "Of course." He pecked me. Justin: "I love you, you know that right?" He kissed me again. "Yes, and I love you too." He smiled and leaned in for another kiss. "Bubba!" He sighed and turned his head towards the door. "Yes, Jazzy?" Jazmyn: "Why are you kissing Melani? She's sick!" He chuckled. "I love Melani too much to care." She crinkled her nose. "If you get sick, I won't take care of you." He gasped. "Why Melani, but not me?" "Because I like Melani better." I laughed. He pouted. Justin: "Fine. My mommy will take care of me." "You're too old." She shot at him. She waved her hand then walked away. I laughed again. "It's your fault she doesn't like me anymore." He looked at me. "Oh well." I grinned. "You're so mean... That's so sexy." He licked his lips. "Don't get too excited, Bieber. I'm tired." "But when you call me by my last name, that just turns me on even more!" "Weirdo." "Yes, I know." He kissed my cheek then rolled off me. "G'night, babe." "Night Justin." I snuggled up to him. "Sweet dreams."

"You wanna come with us?" Justin asked, the next morning. "Where?" He  shrugged casually. "A special place." "Um... Kay then." I changed into sweats and a navy blue YMCMB sweatshirt with a tank top underneath. I was still sick so I wasn't feeling too good. But staying in that room all day isn't making me feel any better. "So, um, how are you feeling?" He asked quietly. "Sick." I sniffled. "Oh. Well, you don't have to come then..." "No, I wanna come. Sorry to say, but I'm kinda getting tired of your room." He chuckled. "I see." He opened the car door for me. Pattie was waiting in the driver's seat. "Oh. Hi Pattie." She smiled. "Hello sweetie." Justin opened the trunk, put his guitar and its case in there, then got into the passenger seat and Pattie drove off. "Um, so where exactly are we going?" I asked. "Justin wanted to visit a place special to him." I nodded. Now, where would that be? I watched through the window, trying to figure it out. She pulled into a spot across the street of the Avon Theater. Ah, I get it now. They got out, but I stayed in. Justin came to my door. I rolled down the window. "You're not coming?" "No, it looks pretty cold out there." "Mkay." He kissed my cheek. He went back and got his guitar then walked towards the steps. I could see him perfectly; even from across the street. He sat down, took his guitar out, laid the case in front of him, then looked around. He caught my eyes and I smiled. He slightly smiled back. Pattie sat next to  him and said something to him. He nodded. A crowd had already gathered  because, well, because he's HIM. But since his guitar case was in front of him, no one blocked my view. I folded my arms and leaned onto them on the door.
