The twins arrived in the garden, the prince cautiously following. "What's your name?" Elladan asked. "I am called Legolas." Legolas whispered. Elrohir raised an eyebrow. "why don't you like people knowing your name?" Elladan asked gently, sitting on a bench. "I have never really been addressed by my name. It is of no importance to hear someone call you by name. In Mirkwood, the King wanted a prince that would die for the safety of others. A prince that would blindly follow the King. A prince who only cares for those around him, never needing love or family." Legolas informed them. "Why did you call your adar by his formal title?" Elladan inquired. "I never have called him anything else then my King. He allows none to address him without respect. What do you call your... Adar?" Legolas warily asked the twins. "We call him Ada. He is our father. He loves us more than the whole of Arda." Elrohir said with a smile. "You are very blessed to be allowed to... To call him thus. What else is there to see?" Legolas asked. Elladan sighed but allowed the topic to be changed. "The training grounds!" Elrohir declared. Legolas smiled, sending chills down the twins spines. "Would you be humble enough to spar with me?" Legolas asked sweetly. "The odds won't be in your favor, elfling!" Elladan stated. Legolas laughed. "I have lived in Mirkwood and have been a warrior since I could hold a bow. I have fallen many an Orc." Legolas boasted as the twins got in position. Legolas had not noticed that many experienced warriors, including Elrond, were gathering to see this fight. Legolas looked completely at peace as the twins nodded to each other. They attacked in sync. Legolas was like water, expertly moving in and out and around the twins. The twins were unconscious in less then seven seconds. Legolas made sure that the twins were unharmed before he noticed the group around him. Elrond's face was a perfect picture of shock. 'No child should be able to dodge that fast! That is... Only Lindar could do that. He was abused. Surely Thranduil would not abuse his only remaining son!' Elrond thought. Legolas met Elrond's eyes for only a second before running down a hallway and disappearing. Elladan groaned.
