Elrond was very mad at Thranduil for all that he had done to the little one. His anger was fueled by Legolas's reactions to raised voices and perceived anger. Legolas did everything that was asked of him without complaint and absolutely no eye contact. 'What has Thranduil done to my little elfling to make him so afraid of everyone?' Elrond pondered. Among this time of pondering, Elrond wondered about the whereabouts of his two mischievous sons he had not seen since yesterday. The lack of pranks had him concerned, coupled with the fact that Thranduil had simply disappeared. Every time he would question Glorfindel or Erestor about where any of the forementioned elves, they would only smile and say that no one knew. Elrond decided to leave it be. After all, it wasn't like those four had anything to do with the disappearance of the king, right? Well, he could believe whatever he wanted for the moment. Legolas needed him more than the others did. Slowly but surely, Legolas started to trust Elrond. Throughout the day, Legolas would start to randomly talk about something or another, never once talking above a whisper. Elrond continued to send as much magic and calming energy as he could to the too small elfling, which in turn strengthened the bond truly making Elrond the father of Legolas because of the bond only being forged between a parent and their child. A few days later, Legolas had quietly asked if he could play in the library, under the watchful eyes of a warrior of Rivendell. Elrond had been over joyed that Legolas had asked for something and eagerly agreed that it would be fun for the elfling. Elrond wanted to join Legolas in his play but the council was about to meet. The council was droning on and on about the dwarves ruining tables and the fountain. All of a sudden, the doors to the council room flew open.
