Thranduil left to find some wine. "This is surprising. Is not family important in your culture?" The Dwarf asked, not at all pleased by what had transpired. Elrond simply sighed. "Thranduil lost his One when Legolas was born. Thranduil blamed the babe for her death. Legolas takes after her in appearances. Thranduil beat Legolas, of that I am sure. This is unexplainable behavior for any person of any race." Elrond informed Thrain. Thrain sighed but left, wanting to be with his son and assure his safety. "Ada, Thranduil wishes to speak with Legolas alone." Elladan whispered. "Tell him that he may after the last meal of tomorrow." Elrond replied, waiting for council to begin. Elladan sent a messenger to tell the king what Elrond had said. The council started off well, slowly deteriorating into a fight. Legolas woke up to the yelling and had started to silently cry, never making a noise. Elrond started to gently rock the elfling, calming him. The meeting went till the dawn of the next day. Legolas looked cranky but it was rather cute. Elrond passed Legolas to Elrohir for a moment. "Ada, he can walk by himself." Whispered Elladan. "Alright but he must receive many hugs and lots of positive attention." Elrond said in acceptance. Elrohir placed Legolas down on his feet. Legolas was shifting from foot to foot. "Legolas, are you alright?" Elrohir asked. "Ggotta ppee..." Whimpered Legolas. Elrohir's eyes widened as Legolas started to blush. A puddle was forming at Legolas's feet, causing Legolas to cry. "Ooops..." Elladan whispered to his twin, who only elbowed him rather harshly. "M sowwy!" Legolas was sobbing now. Elrond scooped his youngest son up. "It will be all right. Let's just get you cleaned up, yes?" Elrond said as he swept to his chambers and the tub within.
