Chapter 8 Auditions

No one's POV
Mr Shue and Finn power walked into the choir room.
"Alright guys. We just had a chat with Principal Sylvester and since grease was such a hit we've been given enough money to put on another musical" Mr Shue announced. Everyone cheered, before the random calling started.
"Wicked" Tina shouted.
"Grease 2" Seth snorted.
"Hairspray" Blaine shouted. Everyone looked at him weirdly.
"We're going to be doing the award winning musical Rent" Finn explained. Some people sighed, others laughed.
"Auditions will start tomorrow, the sign up sheet will be on the notice board" Finn explained. Effy, Marley, Kitty and Sam all turned so they were in a little circle.
"So who's everyone wanting to be?" Sam enquired in a hush whisper.
"Joanne" Marley says.
"Maureen" Kitty replied. Effy and Sam laughed.
"You two want to get your lady kisses on then?" Sam enquired.
"Just because your last girlfriend was a lesbian doesn't mean you have the right to perv on other people hoping they'll doing something lesbian to turn you on" Kitty bitched. Sam's mouth hung open. She did think of that really fast.
"I want to play Mimi and then Ryder could be Rodger" Effy say, she trailed off for a few seconds.
"I guess I want to play mark" Sam says.
"You and Ryder would make a perfect Mimi and Rodger" Marley laughed.

I walked onto the stage in the auditorium.my audition was first and I was doing a dance number, since Mimi was a dancer.
"What's your name, class, role you want to play and audition song?" Artie asked from the teachers desk. I guess he was in the role of director since he already knew my name and class.
"My name is Effy Puckerman, I'm a Sophomore, I will be auditioning for the role of Mimi, and my audition song will be Turn me on by Nicki Minaj and David Guetta" I explained, I had to keep going through the questions in my head to remember my place.
