Okay so clearly my parents didn't buy the whole went to library to study story but I came home happy and with a prize. Between the three of us, we gathered enough tickets to get a giant brown teddy bear. Nolan gave it to me and then Asher got me a cute black choker that I had him put around my neck. For some reason, I felt more confident with them than I did before. Beau got Sophie a small bear because Sophie wasn't interested in one of those giant ones. He also had to brag about how great Sophie was at basketball which made her blush.
I made it back by curfew on school nights so they couldn't question me too much. I put the bear in my junk filled room and then fell asleep in the guest bedroom. By the time I woke up in the morning, I was still wearing the sweat shirt and sweats from yesterday. I simply slipped on a white tank top, red and black plaid shirt, which I leave unbuttoned, black leggings and my white boots so I don't wear all black today. I leave my hair how it is because the natural waves don't look too bad today. I don't even bother with makeup because what's the point? I'm not trying to impress anyone at school.
I briefly saw Sophie today, who, looks prettier than usual today. She has her red hair curled and a pastel pink bow tied in, she has her makeup done with eyeliner that really makes her eyes look bigger. She wears a pastel pink dress, white heels and a gold locket. I smile, she's trying to impress someone.
I was excited to see her for fourth but she looked sad when she walked into fourth. I've only ever seen her look this sad when her dog die and when Trevor broke up with her and if it's Trevor, I'll hunt him down and murder him. Maybe not murder because legal issues and I need to go to college but he'll be sorry he ever messed with her.
"What's wrong?" I ask and she shakes her head.
"Nothing," she whispers. I grab her hand and drag her out the door just as Alec was walking in.
"Where are you guys going?" He asks.
"Bathroom! You want to join?" I ask loudly and he chuckles.
"A chance to see girls, of course," he jokes, or well he might've not been joking.
"No, go to class!" I shout back at him and I see him eventually walk in class. I don't go to the bathrooms because they're going to be crowded but instead I pull her towards the art hall because everyone was at lunch at this time. I look her dead in the eyes, "Talk to me."
She sighs and sits down on the stairs, "Trevor has a new girlfriend."
I knew it had to deal with him, where's my shotgun, "I'm sorry. How do you know?"
"Last night, after our adventure, which I had so much fun with, I got the nostalgic feeling so I logged into Facebook and searched him up. Well when I clicked on his profile, I saw it said in a relationship and then his profile picture was him with the girlfriend and I don't know, I'm angry and sad," she vented, "The girl is more his type anyway. She goes to parties, she's pretty and I doubt he'll cheat on her like he did with me."
I sit down next to her and rub her back, "Okay, listen to me, guys like Trevor, they never change. He will keep on cheating even if the girl is basically him in girl form because he's a guy who wants to have fun. The fact he cheated on you, has nothing to do with your personality or looks, it has to deal with the fact that he's a dick who can't keep his dick out of other girls. You deserve a much better person than him, you are worth more than a cheater."
She wipes away a tear or two, "You always know what to say."
"Only sometimes," I admit and she laughs.
