There was no hanging out with the boys today. Sophie had slept over, mom and dad were out for the day, so we had the whole house to ourselves. We texted the boys, told them we were having a girls day until six because that was when Asher and I were going on our "maybe date". Sophie agreed to hang out with the boys at six even though she'd rather be at home doing homework or something of that sorts.

We were chilling on the guest bed, it was past noon, watching some Netflix. We began watching the new season of Orange is the New Black because Sophie is obsessed with it, at six this morning. We basically pulled an all-nighter since we wanted to see how long it would take to finish the whole season. Not to mention we came in pretty late from the guys last night so instead of sleeping, we pulled an all-nighter. It was four AM anyway when we got home so there was no use in sleeping. Now I really regret the decision.

"So big date with Asher tonight," Sophie smirks, wiggling her eyebrows as she says it.

"Yeah, a "date"," I remark and she shakes her head.

"You look terrible."

"Lack of sleep will do that to you," I point out and she shrugs.

"When do you plan on getting ready?"

"Probably an hour before or something like that, I mean, he didn't say it was a date or anything like that."

"Yeah but still," Sophie says, "I think he's hoping it was. You should still put a bunch of effort in. Even if it's not a date, he's probably going to take you on a fancy dinner so the least you can do is look somewhat presentable."

She is right. I doubt showing up in my white Adidas sweatshirt, gray sweats and looking like a zombie with my under eye circles that were looking extremely purple, as if I had been punched in the face. Not to mention, my hairs tangled and thrown in a messy bun. But all I wanted to do right now was sleep.

I yawned as I spoke the next part, "Well I'm going to sleep for a bit so wake me up around four."

Before Sophie could respond, I jumped under the covers, rolled over to my side and closed my eyes. I was really exhausted because I fell asleep in less than a minute after I closed my eyes.

Everything good must come to an end though and when Sophie woke me up, I would've rather canceled the "date". But being the good person that I am, I rolled out of bed and let Sophie drag me to my room. She was deciding on an outfit as she shoved me into the bathroom to take a shower because apparently I stunk. After my shower, Sophie took me over to the vanity table and began doing my hair. She grabbed a bunch of hair ties, grabbed small chunks of my hair which she braided and then tied with the hair ties. After she was done, I looked as if I had put dreads in my hair which made me look really weird but Sophie told me to be patient. She began doing my makeup.

She added silver eyeshadow and on the ends of my eyelids, added some black eyeshadow. Then she added liquid black eyeliner and added a wing at the end which made my eyes pop out more. She added some blush on my high cheekbones and red lipstick which made my lips look fuller. After she was done with my makeup, she plugged in the straightener and let it heat up. After it was fully heated, she took the hair tie off one of the braids, grabbed the straightener and straightened over the braid. When she undid the braid, my hair was wavy but looked like it was crimped. I have to say, Sophie was doing a good job.

After she straightened over every braid, she brought me the outfit she chose. She picked out a plain, white, long-sleeve shirt, an emerald green skirt that went to the middle of my thighs, knee high black socks, and my black ankle boots. She also got a white, plaid infinity scarf and silver, white and black bracelets. I went into my closet and changed before coming out to see Sophie's face light up.
