Halloween is actually on Saturday this year, which means there will be many drunk teenagers partying. I had no intention of partying, Sophie and I were planning on staying in, watching scary movies and eating candy like we do every Halloween. But the boys had other plans, which I shouldn't be surprised.

"We need your help!" Asher remarks as he flops down on the couch next to us.

"With?"

"Costumes."

"It's Halloween and you don't have a costume?" Sophie asks.

"Well we've been kind of busy and we could really use your help," he begs.

"You want us to help you costume shop?"

He nods, "Please?"

I look at Sophie who shrugs, "Yeah fine."

He smiles, hugging me close, "You're the best! I'll be in the car with the others."

I pulled on my lace up boots, grabbed my phone and wallet. We were on our way there, Asher kept blasting loud rap music that got all the boys singing, well except for Alec. I wasn't in the mood today, the divorce was still affecting me, even though it's been a week, but dad had been by yesterday to get what remained of his stuff. Mom and he are going to a lawyer tomorrow to talk legal stuff such as car and house.

We arrived at the Halloween store. The boys didn't mess around today, they really needed costumes. So they kept trying on some. They decided the theme would be horror costumes so we just stayed at the horror section.

Beau found a nice Chucky costumes. It came with a mask with red hair and blood splattered all over it. The costume also came with a stripped long sleeve shirt, blue overalls that has the word Chucky on it in red, and white shoes. Beau looked even more terrifying with it. Especially when he grabbed the axe that's covered in blood.

Nolan wanted to be Scream. He found one with the white mask covered in blood and in the robe was a button that he presses and it makes more blood splash onto his face. His knife was covered with blood and he bought a device that gave him heavy breathing because he felt it was more ominous that way.

Asher wanted to be Freddy. He found a basic one with the burned skin mask, a brown hat, red and black stripped shirt and gloves with the blade sticking out. Apparently Freddy had always been his favorite scary movie. He told us about a time when he watched Freddy vs Jason and couldn't sleep for two weeks because it scared him so much. I would laugh but I can relate, I stayed with my mom for a week after that film.

Lastly, Alec decided he'd be Jason; his reason was because Jason was an enemy of Freddy and that would fit perfectly on how he felt about Asher. I know he doesn't mean it, Alec and Asher are the closest of all the four. But it was still funny to see him struggle to breath in the white hockey mask. He wanted the one with a ripped white shirt, blue jacket and black pants. He also wanted the blood covered sword Jason has.
