"yes i am. but please you know don't tell your moms. im only staying here for a few more nights -

"you know callie wants nothing to do with you right?" jude snapped.

yeah I'm aware. i don't particularly want anything to do with her either."

"i know what liam did to her and i know that you didn't do anything to stop it. you saw everything that happened and you couldn't even tell your parents what he was doing. at least your brother is in jail now so"

"ah - he's out"

my hands were starting to sweat again.

"what?!" jude screeched.

"he got out a few months ago. okay, that's why i ran, i can't deal with it anymore. my parents don't even care and there's another girl there who we are fostering and im pretty sure it's happening again"

"her name is sarah isn't it?"

"yes - how do you know that?"

"callie met her at group a year ago, she tried to get sarah taken out of your home."

"yet somehow that's my fault."

"what?" jude said confused.

"liam blamed that on me, just like he blamed callie getting pulled out on me too."

*flahsback*
1 year ago -

"riley how could you do this again?"

"do what liam?"

"tell mom and dad that im some kind of criminal just so sarah can get pulled from our home"

he came closer to me.

"liam i have no idea what you're talking about okay, i haven't said anything about sarah or anything about you to them"

"well why don't i tell them that you've been trying to OD on your medication? huh wouldn't you like that?"

"liam stop it!"

he came even closer.

"next time keep your stupid mouth shut.

he smacked me across the face.

*flashback over*

i started to tear up.

"what's wrong?" said jude.

"nothing, and you know what just forget we had this conversation and tell your sister to stay the hell away from me." i think i said that a little too loud to jude because stef and lena walked in.

my mood swings were kicking in.

"is everything okay here? what going on?" they said.

jude gave me a look and stomped out of the kitchen.

they saw i had been crying.

"riley?"

"everything is fine" i said while wiping the remaining tears from my face.

i didn't say anything else and just walked into the living room.

lena and stef both looked at eachother.

lena sighed.

and i fell asleep.

i usually go to sleep when im angry.
