Deep into the night, she could not find sleep.
Her mind is an ocean trying to fit into a puddle and the rest of her is listless.
A breeze blows through her curtains and the moonbeams gently illuminate the purple rose atop her bedside desk.
She sighs a happy sigh.
Taking no notice of the time, she thumbs through her phone and sends him a message not expecting an answer.
[11:08pm] Maine: "Lavender rose?"
But he's up so she did.
[11:08pm] RJ: "Hindi mo pa ba gino-google?"
She did but the results are a little varied.
She's not sure of which meaning he is subscribed to.
[11:09pm] Maine: "Majesty"
[11:09pm] Maine:"Romantic Intent"
[11:09pm] Maine:"The most common result is 'Love at first sight'"
[11:09pm] Maine:"Which, weeeeh? Di nga???"
[11:10pm] Maine:"So which is it? Since you're the source, what does a single stem of lavender rose means for you?"
It took him a while to send a reply.
