Stephen sat in the front seat of Draymond's car, trying to figure out what could possibly be wrong with Heart. It worried him, only because he knew it was something out of the blue and very unexpected. He didn't know how things could turn out, but he just prayed for things to be okay and not too drastic.

"You sweatin' bullets in my front seat." Steph rolled his eyes, a bit annoyed at how he had to get driven around for a bit until his ankle was a bit better. "What'd you do this time, playboy?"

"I didn't do anything." He responded. "Well, at least I don't think I did anything." Steph scrunched his forehead as he kept his eyes on the surroundings that were quickly passing him by.

"I'm just kidding. I believe you. It'll be alright. Maybe she's stressing out about something and just needs you to be there for her."

"Yeah I suppose. She does tend to be hard on herself sometimes when it comes to work or school. And she never says it straight up. She always has to sugarcoat it and then say she didn't know how to explain it without getting on my nerve." Steph shook his head and slightly laughed.

"Females. That's their thing."

"Yeah, but I would never get annoyed of her. I tell her continuously to just let me know what's on her mind without holding back. There's always room for improvement."

"I get that. But you know, maybe it's just different for her. She hasn't had someone she could really talk to in awhile, especially since Jomari been in jail & now she doesn't really have that support figure anymore."

"True."

"She's just scared. Cut her a little slack. Not everybody can speak their mind freely."

"That's also true. But I also can't help but try and figure out what it could possibly be." Stephen rubbed his chin with his thumb as he continued to think.

"Don't hurt yourself now. We're almost there. I think you could spare a couple of more minutes."

"I think I know what it is."

"What?"

"I must have forgotten to put her dishes back."

"You're trippin'." Dray shook his head. "She wouldn't send you a text like that over some dishes."

"Damn, did I put her ice cream back?" Stephen stared out into space for a good minute or two before speaking up once more. "Shit, I think I forgot to put her ice cream back into the freezer."

"Ice cream? Are you really trippin' or what?"

"Man, you don't want to mess with her and her ice cream. It gets real serious." He said as Draymond pulled into Christen and Dom's driveway.

"Alright, whatever you say. Go find out if it was the ice cream or not. If it is, I hope she beats your ass some more. You don't forget to put ice cream in the freezer."

"I probably wasn't thinking straight that day. But thanks Dray. I'll see you later."

"No problem." With that, Steph gathered himself onto his crutches and took his time making it to her place at the back of the house. He took a deep breath before knocking on her door and waiting patiently. For a minute, it took her awhile to open the door, making Steph worry a bit. But, the moment he saw her figure coming towards him, he felt relieved.

Not for long, though.

When Heart opened the door, her eyes were puffy and red. Signaling that she had been crying for awhile. Crying hard too. She didn't say a word as she moved to the side to let him in.
