Layla's Pov:

"Alright ladies that's enough practice and great job today" I said to the cheer squad

I was getting ready to go to the sandlot till Mary and Martha stopped me

"Are you going to the sandlot today." Mary asked me

"Yes guys and please don't try to stop me with shopping or boy haunting I have a boyfriend and not into shopping" I said looking for my change of clothes

"No no no we was wondering if we could go with you." Martha said

"Wait What!! you guys wanna come." I said excited

"Yeah cause we gotta spot of this Benny kid for you." Mary said

"Okay...but I can't find my clothes to change into.. dang it I left them at home do you know how long it's going to take me to get there and back to the sandlot.. ugh!" I said

"Chill Mary's Mom coming to get us and then you can borrow some of her clothes at her house." Martha said

"Okay cool." I said

Smalls Pov:

Today we were at the sandlot finishing up where we were yesterday Benny had batted so did I everyone had batted already we was in our third round of batting and Squints was up

"Alright boys imma hit a Homer" Squints said fixing his glasses

"Sure.." Denunez Said

Squints swung the bat and missed

"Strike one" Ham called out

"Shut your trap Ham" Squints said angrily

Denunez threw the ball again and Squints swung and hit the ball bit Bertram caught it in mid air

"Your Out!!!." Ham practically screamed

I was up to bat this time and I had a nice grip on the bat

Layla's Pov:

is this all you have to wear... I mean it's soooo girly and short....

"Layla it's the only thing I have that fits you plus I added the chucks so it was boyish for you." Mary said

"I mean I'm not skirt type of girl.. my own brother hasn't seen me wear a skirt." I said trying to pull the skirt down

"Layla you look fine and we have to hurry because we going to miss their game." Martha Said

"Fine whatever." I said

Good thing Mary lived right behind the Vincent's Drug Store or I'll probably be screwed we ran to the sandlot I still didn't feel safe running with this much skin showing

Smalls Pov:
I was standing on third base and it was Benny turn to bat he was about to bat but something distracted him and Denunez threw the ball and it hit Benny in the face everyone was laughing but all turned to see what he was looking at turns out there was three girls and one of them was Layla in a skirt

"Hot Mama" Squints shouted

"Holy shit." Tommy said

"Holy shit." Timmy repeated

"Who's that." Denunez Said

"Oh My God." Ham said

"Layla." Yeah Yeah said in shocked

Layla was really pretty today I don't think I or the guys has ever seen her in a skirt till now.

Benny Pov:
I was to up bat but something caught my eye... it was Layla in a skirt with her friends I never seen Layla in a skirt she wouldn't let me come to the football or basketball games to see her cheer but now I'm glad I did see her in a skirt I turned back to Denunez who already pitched the ball and had ball hit me in the face

Layla Pov:
I was walking till I seen Benny look a me from a distance God he hated it I thought to myself I wanted to run and hide in a ditch somewhere... he just stared at me till the ball hit in the face

"Benny." I yelled running towards him

Once I got to him and squatted next to him to see if he's okay and rubbed his face

"So this is the mysterious Benny Rodriguez." Martha said

"Ooo he is cute too." Mary said and Martha nudged her

"What...... he is." She added

I rolled my eyes and looked at Benny

"Benny are you okay?" I asked

"Yeah I'm fine I got hit before with a ball plus your prettiness distracted me." He said smiled

"Get up you dork." I said

"Hot Mama" I heard Squints

I turned around and stuck my tongue out and hugged Benny

"Go get em babe." I said kissing his cheek

"Okay." He said kissing my forehead

Me and the girls sat the sandlot talking about the boys and Mary how couldn't get over how cute Benny was and why I been hiding from her. Martha and Mary said they were coming here everyday. we were distracted by the boys calling out for Smalls and we got up and walked over to find out Smalls didn't know about the beast yet.

"CampOut" The boys said all together

"Can Girls Come." Mary said Looking at smalls

"Yeah of course." Benny said Wrapping his arm around my shoulder
