Mercury gets to his apartment and collapses on his bed after checking the Haven uniform fits. Blanche falls asleep after her shower.

Blanche POV

I "woke up" in an unfamiliar apartment, and I realized I was having another lucid dream. It was surprising that it was the second night in a row. I wondered if I would see Mercury again. Wandering around the apartment, I saw that it was quite beautifully decorated. Peeking outside the window, I realized I was on the highest level of an apartment building in the Residential District. I had passed by this place on my way to the White Fang storage facility earlier. It was a rent only place where furnishings were provided.

I explored around the area until I passed by a door. Edging it open, I saw that Mercury was indeed in my dream again, because he was on the bed curled up and asleep. Does he seriously make enough in his criminal adventures to be able to afford such a lavish apartment? I inched closer to the bed, freezing when he stirred. I slowly tip toed towards his bed again when he stopped moving, and studied him. His hair was in his face, and unconsciously I reached out to sweep it away.

His hand shot up in a flash, seizing my wrist and dragging me on to the bed. He pinned my wrists down above my head and straddled my waist. "Didn't anyone ever tell you not to sneak into a man's apartment? You're not very innocent it seems," he smirked at me, brushing his lips along my neck. I shivered and turned my gaze away, trying to hide a blush brought on from seeing his bare upper body. "I wasn't expecting to see you again. How did you find this place?" he sat up, making me groan at the weight increase on my midriff.

"Not to sure honestly. I woke up on your couch," I mumbled,"Now will you let go of me? I'm going to have bruises when I wake up tomorrow with the way you're squeezing." He slid off me in amusement,"Funny, you talk like you're a real person." I looked at him confused,"Of course I'm a real person. We're in my dream you know." "No, we're in my dream." We stared at each other in shock.

Mercury's POV

I must be going crazy. This girl just told me she was real, and that we were in her dream. But that couldn't be right, this was MY dream. "Prove it." "What?" "Prove you're real," she said again. I thought for a moment and racked my brain for something that wouldn't end up with me digging my own grave. "You ever hear of an assassin named Marcus Black?" She nodded,"He's pulled a couple jobs for the White Fang before." I looked at her surprised,"You're part of the Fang?" "Used to be. If you want to know if I'm real or not, just ask Adam Taurus who the person he wants to kill the most besides Blake," she snorted.

"What the hell did you end up doing that made Adam want your blood? And who's Blake?" "You don't know her," she yawned,"Let's just say I pissed him off because he lost one of the White Fang's best assassins when I left." I looked at her in a new light,"Damn who knew you were such a badass." She narrowed her eyes and gave me a glare,"I'm not proud of what I've done. Enough about me. What was that about Marcus Black?" I looked at her thoughtfully before answering,"He's my dad. Or well, he was my dad. We got into a scrap a year back and now he's six feet under." She raised an eyebrow at me, but only shook her head.

"So what now?" I asked her,"We're sharing dreams if you're real like you say you are, which means we're probably going bat-shit crazy." She shrugged and snagged my pillow,"I'll do some reading after classes in Beacon's library. They've got books on everything, I'll probably find something there." I laid down next to her,"So what do you want to do until this dream ends? Or do you just want to sit in silence?" "Go ahead," she propped up her head with a hand, having shifted to lay on her stomach.

"Favorite food?" "That's a hard one....umm my favorite fruit is lychee.....Yours?" "A good steak never goes wrong," I saw her wrinkle her nose,"What, you don't like steak?" "Not particularly fond of meat in general. Gives me indegestion. Favorite song?" "Not much of a music listener. You?" "Up in Flames by Icon for Hire. Favorite drink?" I gave her a look,"How old are you again?" "Old enough to know how to make a decision of whether I want alcohol or not." "Fine, I won't judge. I like Irish Coffees on occasion, I don't usually touch the stuff. You?" "Mint Juleps. I don't usually drink but I enjoy it when I do. I like a sweet Manhattan once in a while." "Favorite hobby?" "Baking or cooking. You?" "Hitting the gym or preferably kicking someone's ass." She gave me a half-annoyed look. "Oh come on, I can tell you're someone who likes that too," I winked at her, only to have my pillow thrown in my face.

I leaned over and brushed over her lips, and pulled back to see that she had gone bright red. "I think I'm going to claim you as mine," I smirked at her before getting hit with the pillow again. She got up out of the bed and started rooting around my room. "What are you looking for?" I drawled before sitting up on the bed, watching her tail swish around. "You know I can feel you staring at my ass Mercury. Ah found one!" She got back on the bed with a black marker, and popped the cap off. "What are you doing?" I inched away from her as she came closer. "Hold still will you," she grabbed my arm and turned my torso towards her, drawing something on to my chest. I traced it in my mind but couldn't figure out what it was,"What did you draw on me?" "I drew my symbol." I grabbed the marker out of her hand and turned her right shoulder towards me, drawing my own symbol into her skin. I capped the marker and flung it off into the room somewhere. We laid back down, Blanche using my chest as a pillow. Blanche. I liked the sound of her name.
