Blanche's POV

We decided to take to the rooftops. The buildings were close enough that we were able to jump between them, and we were also able to avoid any Grimm that might've been down on the ground below. We stopped on a roof across the building the White Fang guards had entered, and I spotted the black fabric I had pinned into the building, still untouched. "Blanche?" "Yeah Merc?" "I never asked, but why do you always change weapons? Everyone else has their own specific weapon but you shift constantly." I sighed and laid a hand on my pouch,"I'll tell you if we make it out of this alive."

I motioned for them to wait, and leapt down from the roof. Turning invisible, I crept up to the doors and took down the piece of fabric. Slowly, I pulled the handle and inched the door open. Thankfully there wasn't any squeaking, and the rest of the group quickly came down. We hurried inside, and I shut the door behind us. "Damnit I can't see a single thing," Qrow growled. Blake and I turned to each other before grabbing everyone. "Look, we're the only ones with night vision here. Currently this area is dark but the best place to find the White Fang would be places that are lit up," Blake looked around. "There," I pointed to a faint glow in the distance. The two of us led the way while the rest of the group stumbled slightly in the darkness. We crouched down above the vast cavern, staring in awe at the remains of the underground shelter. Our next reaction was anger and shock as more White Fang members than we could count moved around stolen prototype Atlesian Paladin-290s and various crates, most likely containing weapons.

"They're being loaded up into the train cars," I furrowed my brows. "Ahhh that's ridiculous. These tunnels are sealed, the tracks lead to a dead-end," Oobleck replied. My eyes widened,"Is anyone's scroll working?" Qrow produced him and I quickly dialed Ozpin. "Qrow?" "Sorry Professor it's Blanche. Have you finished evacuating downtown Vale?" "Yes, the entire city actually. The only people left are Huntsmen, Huntresses, and the students." "Okay. There might be trouble coming that way soon so be prepared." I ended the call and tossed the scroll back to Qrow. "Why did you ask the headmaster if Vale has been evacuated?" Oobleck looked at me intensely. "You said that those tunnels lead to a dead end....Dr. Oobleck, that dead end leads right into the middle of downtown Vale!" Everyone's eyes widened and they looked down to the train cars.

"Come on," Qrow jumped down. "What, no plan?" Yang asked at the empty space where he used to be. "Since when did you care about plans?" Weiss asked her skeptically. Yang merely growled a little and jumped down after her uncle. The rest of RWBY followed as Oobleck sighed. "We really should've come up with a plan," I muttered as the three of us jumped down. The eight of us hid behind a few crates and watched the White Fang move around. "We need to stop that train," Qrow slicked his bangs back and took a swig from his flask. I gulped slightly. If Qrow was drinking, that meant shit was about to go down.

"Hey Yang?" "Yeah Uncle Qrow?" "Create a distraction for us by blowing up those weapons crates," he pointed to a stack of crates diagonally across from us. Yang grinned and loaded her gauntlets. A single shot fired through, shooting across the area. As the crates turned in a fiery mess, a familiar voice sounded out,"WHAT is going on here?!" "Torchwick?" we all looked at each other. What was he still working with the White Fang for?

"That wasn't something I had taken into account," Qrow grumbled as he drew out his sword. We split up into pairs and ran around the area of the explosion. The two Huntsmen headed towards the train cars while the remaining six of us began destroying what we could. "Get to your places, we are leaving now!" Torchwick's voice echoed from a speaker system. The White Fang guards that we were fighting all turned tail and ran towards the train cars. "Damnit!" I wrapped my chain around my wrist,"Let's go!" Mercury and I headed towards the now moving train, the rest of the group not far behind. Yang grabbed Blake and propelled them both on to the train car as I spun my chain and sank the blades into the top of the car. I tugged hard and pulled Mercury along with me, the two of us landing safely on the moving train. Oobleck and Qrow were already there, Qrow drinking deeply from his flask. In a flash of rose petals, Ruby and Weiss made it too.
