I watched the blood swirl down into the sink. I grabbed a towel and dried my hands. I walked out of the bathroom and saw Clara sitting on the bed, her head in her hands.
"Why'd you do that?" Clara asked, her voice barely a whisper. I walked over to her.
"They killed my father. I couldn't let them get away with it." I touched her shoulder and she moved away from me, standing up.
"You didn't have to torture them, Parker. That was crossing a line. Especially the way you tortured them," she said angrily.
"They deserved it. My pack. I can do whatever the hell I please," I argued.
"That's where you're wrong. Your 'pack' is just a bunch of fucking rogues, that are so afraid of you, they listen!" She yelled, putting air quotes around 'pack'.
"At least they listen to me! No one else does!" I growled.
"I would listen but you don't tell me anything! You keep to yourself!" She screamed.
I growled and smashed my lips to hers. Kissing her roughly. I slid my tongue across her bottom lip, asking for entrance, which she grants. I shoved my tongue in her mouth. I pushed Clara down on the bed and ripped her top off.

Clara:I walked quickly about the room, getting my clothes.
"Damn. He ripped my shirt," I groaned, picking up the torn material. I went to his closet and took a black t shirt and slid it on. I looked for my underwear when I noticed he torn them too. I groaned and grabbed a pair of his boxers, and put them on. "Stupid."
I carefully walked out of the room, slowly closing the door. I sighed and went downstairs. I bumped into Carter.
"That's gross," Carter said, making a face.
"What? Me having hot angry sex with my mate?" I asked, smiling. Carter pretended to gag.
"That's my best friend. I'd rather hear it from him. Why are you tip toeing?" He questioned.
"Uh. No reason," I lied, smiling nervously. Xander walked in.
"Ready to go?" He asked.
"Go where? Where are you going?" Carter eyed me.
"None of your damn business, pup," Xander said, growling. Carter growled back.
"Boys," I warned. They both knew I could easily kick their ass.
"Sorry," they both muttered.
"Got everything we need?" I asked, looking at Xander. He nodded.
"Tell me where you're going!" Carter whined. I growled.
"No place you need to know about. This way, Parker won't kill you in cold blood because you know where I am."
"He'll still kick my ass for letting you leave. You're his whole world. The best part of him. You can't leave," Carter said. I gave Xander a look and he nodded once. Xander took a step closer to Carter and sucker punched him in the face. Carter held his nose and stumbled backward.
"What the hell was that for?" He shouted.
"You tried to stop me. Xander took care of it. Technically it's not a lie. Gotta dash!" I sprinted out of the house, Xander right behind me.
We walked a little down the road. And by we, I mean Xander. I was getting a piggy back ride. And by a little down the road, I mean, about a good four miles. We could have shifted but Xander said he smelt some hunters near by and didn't want to risk it. His smelling was way better than mine.
We finally arrived at the little cafe, in town. I fixed my hair and walked inside. The powerful scent of an alpha, hitting my nostrils. I followed the scent and was met with a pair of striking blue eyes.
"You must be Alpha Clara," he said, voice low. I studied him. His broad chest and muscular arms, reminded me of Parker. Parker wasn't as built as him, but still pretty built.
"Actually, I'm not alpha yet. I'm presuming you're Alpha Jensen," I said, extending my hand. Jensen shook my hand, his grip firm.
"Please sit," he said, motioning to the empty chair in front of him. I nodded and took a seat. Xander handed me some papers and a pen. I took them and went through them.
"You know where my brother is, is that correct?" He asked.
"Yes. He's safe, don't worry," I assured him. I could see him relax just a little bit at my words. As much as a concerned alpha could relax.
"What are these papers for exactly? You didn't say much on the phone."
"Well, as you know I am going to be alpha in a month, and I have recently found my mate," I started.
"Congratulations," he said. I smiled and thanked him.
"I don't currently like the fact that our packs don't have a treaty. Especially with us being so close. I think it would be best if we could rely on one another if we need to, don't you?" I asked, shuffling papers around.
"What is your pack? I don't think I've heard of any next alpha by the name of Clara," Jensen said, rubbing his stubbly chin.
"Claw Pack," I answered.
"Oh. If I remember correctly, your father, Alpha Pete, didn't want anything to do with my pack when my father was alpha." His voice became strained at the mention of his father.
"I am going to be the next alpha. I will have control. We can put the past behind us, can we not?" I asked. "Also, I am very sorry about your loss."
Jensen tensed up. "How do you know about my father's death? I made sure no one but my pack knows. Now speak." Jensen leaned in closer. I could tell he wanted to grab my shirt and threaten me, but we were in a public place.
"My mate. My mate is Parker, your brother," I said. Jensen leaned back.
"Why didn't you say so? Is this what this is all about? You're going to try and get him to be alpha, aren't you?"
"I didn't want to tell you because it didn't matter who my mate was. Parker being my mate is half the reason why I'm doing this. What I'm doing with Parker is none of your business. And if you must know, Carter is where Parker is. Do not ask Carter to tell you where he is, he will not answer. Parker doesn't want to go back to you," I said. I gripped the pen in my hand. I tried to make out Jensen's facial expressions.
"He won't even come for our father's funeral?" Jensen asked.
"I'm sure he will, if you agree to sign these papers. One of these papers states that if Parker goes onto your territory, he gets to come back. You cannot keep him there against his will. If any of your wolves attack him or me, we will go to war."
"Does Parker know about this?"
"Of course not. You really think I'd come here alone if he did?" I asked, pushing the paper and pen in front of him.
Jensen studied the paper, reading over it. He picked up the pen, looked up at me, and signed the paper. I smiled. He slid the paper back over to me.
"Pleasure of doing business with you, Alpha Jensen," I said. I started gathering my things when he stopped me.
"The funeral is tomorrow. At 8 in the morning."
"We'll be there."
We stood up and that's when I noticed he had his third and beta with him. They started coming towards me. I glanced over at Xander.
I cleared my throat. "This is neutral ground. I don't think you would want to start something between our packs. Especially not when I'm your brothers mate."
Jensen put his hand up and everyone stopped. "If you were truly his mate, he wouldn't have let you come alone. Especially not with another male."
"That male, is your father's brother, Xander. He is also my guard," I said. Xander was now beside me.
"That can't be. My father never had a brother," he muttered. Jensen's attitude quickly changed and he growled. "Lying bitch." He gripped me by my throat. I struggled to breath and Xander was being held back.
"I'm not lying," I struggled to get out. My vision started to blur and that's when Jensen got knocked to the ground. I landed with a thud and started gasping for air.
I saw someone fighting with Jensen. I smelt the oh so wonderful scent of Parker. I got up and tried to peel Parker off him.
"That's enough!" I screamed. My power must have radiated off because everyone stopped. I grabbed Parker off of Jensen and examined his face. He pushed my hand away and kissed me.
"What the hell are you doing here?" He growled at Jensen.
Jensen spit out blood. "Making an agreement with that whore."
Parker growled and tried to lunge at him. "Watch yourself. Have some fucking respect for my mate."
"I told you I wasn't lying!" I yelled. I looked over to find Xander still being held by Jensen's beta and third. I growled. "Let him go." Without hesitation, they let him go. Xander walked over to me.
"What agreement were you making?" Parker asked.
"That you could go to your father's funeral and no one can stop you from leaving," I answered. "And this moron thought I was lying."
Jensen growled and Parker shoved me behind him. Xander stood in front of me, beside Parker.
"Is that it?"
"And since he's one of my neighboring packs, I thought we could have a treaty between us. In case one of our packs need help."
"Did you agree?" Parker looked at Jensen.
"Yes. I signed papers."
"Then what the fuck are you doing, attacking her? Don't you know that could start a fucking war! Is that really what you want?"
Jensen growled. "You can't talk to me like that! I am the alpha!"
"So am I!" The room went silent. Parker lowered his voice. "After this week, I'm going with Clara. We're both going to lead her pack. Together."
"You're not fit to lead a pack. You can barely protect your mate!"
"She snuck out when I was asleep! She knew I wouldn't let her do this!"
I now stood between Parker and Xander, holding Parker's hand. Jensen got closer to me.
"You're going to let this monster lead your pack?" He whispered. I let go of Parker's hand and tried to lunge at Jensen. Xander was holding me back. I kicked and clawed at him, but he wouldn't budge. I stopped and Xander let me go.
"He's the monster? Aren't you the one who let your father get killed by a couple of rogues? You treated him like shit and expect what? Him to be a ray of sunshine? No. You let him think you hated him with everything you had. You didn't talk to him. You didn't love him. He's your brother and you treated him like shit. So tell me again how he's the monster." I walked out of the cafe. I couldn't stand to see his face any longer. I heard a couple more growls and a few cups being broken.
After about 5 minutes of waiting outside, Parker and Xander came out.
"Let's go," Parker said, wrapping an arm around my shoulders and kissing my head.
