Chapter 6

Mai came back to their room and she saw Naru seated on the bed with a book in his hand as he was leaning on the hard board of the bed. Mai gave Naru his tea and sat opposite him near the bed post. Soon Naru got the tea he had took a sip of the tea as they sat in silence for a while until Mai broke it

“Oliver- san I need to speak with you” Naru looked up from the book as Mai started speaking and now was staring at her with his crystal blue eyes. 

“Mai, what did I tell you about calling me Oliver, I don’t want other people know about my identity just because you lack some brain cell to understand the basic after working with me for so long”.

“well, it is also a reason why I told you that I would like to speak with you, The thing is I know it is the Alps that are haunting this place and I know how to get rid of them “
“And how is that?” He asked sceptically not truly believing her 

“Well, you have to find the grave of their master and lead them to it, and then they will be able to leave this property. The main reason that they stay this property is that they hoped for the master to come back and be together with him once again their master was a black magic user however after some a couple of years that he have moved in to this house, he have stopped the practice of dark magic and started to lead a peaceful life. However, certain records indicated that Mr Bone had went missing and no one had ever seen him before.  There were various speculations about his missing case,  like some people believed that he went back to his country and abandoned the house however some says that he had been abducted by someone and was killed brutally, the peculations go on. From my investigation I was able to find the true fact is the latter. Moreover his spirit still resides next to his grave in a nearby place and that it.” Mai concluded

Naru was astonished about the information that Mai had revealed “How did you get this information about the alps and the owner of this house”

“That’s not important; all you need to know is that the Alps are causing trouble for the humans because the humans are trying to destroy the house what their master had left for them to look after until he comes back”

“You had a dream right? Was Gene in it? Mai tell me how you found the information?” Naru hissed at Mai however this only angered her more.

“You think this whole world revolve around you, well I hate to be the one to break it to you it’s not and there are other things in this world and listen I don’t need to explain anything to you cause you are not my boss no more” Mai shot back at him with that she left the room.

Naru frowned at this and said “Mai, do I have to remind or have you already forgotten, according to the council you are here to assist the SPR with the investigation, as long as you are assisting SPR technically you are my assistant so you have the responsibility to carry out the tasks that are given by me”

“Fine, be that way” with those final words from Mai, the room feels in to a complete silence. Suddenly they heard a cry, more precisely a cry of an infant child. Both Mai and Naru looked at each other before the head out side to investigate source of the cries. As they walked out they were meet with the long corridor of the second floor which is leading in to several room and of the room stood out as the door strange writings glowing on it.

As soon as Mai saw this she rushed out to find out what is inside the room, as she was about to get hold of the door handle Naru stopped her.

“Is there a reason why you are rushing in to a room you never seen before without the proper defence, or do you have a death wish?” Naru asked.
