Normal POV
As Lin walked in all he saw was red, all over the floor, the cloths the furniture. Red anywhere and everywhere in the room.
"What is going on here, why is there so much blood?" Lin asked however his voice was cracking in panic. He looked at Naru to see him staring towards the corners to see a figure holding a small dissembled body. Blood was seeping out making a puddle on the floor. Mai was kneeling on the floor trying to prevent herself from collapsing and Naru was behind her with one hand over Mais' shoulder in a comforting manor however shock was visible on his flawless face.
"Lin, call the Ambulance. Tell them we got a dissembled infant" Naru said and shook Mai from her shock "Mai, you have to get hold of yourself and speak with the spirit so she can move on"
"But Naru, she just lost her son. What am I supposed to say to her that its alight? That it is the punishment for what she did? Tell me Naru, what am I supposed to say"
"Mai, you have to calm down and speak what you think is right" Naru reassured
"Fine, if this gets messy prepare for another exorcism" with that she approached the spirt and put a hand on her shoulder.
"I know what you are about to say Mai, but I understand and I won't become a vengeful spirit that hunt everyone. This is what I deserved and this is what I get for harming two innocent lives because of my jealousy but I just wish it wasn't in front of me to see my child break in two in front of me" she crying her heart out for her sins, her love, her life and for the lives she looks, with that her figure crumpled down and vanished.
"Naru, that was cruel. How can a father kill their own child even if the mother is a sinner" Mai cried as she buried her face in Naru's shirt and making it wet with her tears and hearing Mais cries the rest of the SPR walked in.
"What's going on?" Monk asked "You do know it is not the time and place for romance" Monk said taunting the teenagers who are now hugging each other. All off a sudden he felt a pang of pain at the back of his head.
"you never understand, look around you and the blood" Ayako said as she approached Mai and giving her a motherly hug.
"It's fine now Mai, I am sorry what I did to you after Naru left. I didn't mean it but that's not an excuse" Ayako said "all I can do is ask for your forgiveness and come back to us"
"Me too. I am sorry" Monk said while taking Mai from Ayako's hug
"Everyone pack up and I'll take Mai in my car. Now if you excuse us" with that Naru dragged Mai along with him.
They existed the house that they spent the last for days and the place of their reunion. He opened the front passenger seat to and went to the driver seat of his Audi A8. When he saw, Mai sitting still on her seat her pull the seat belt across her chest and plugged it in. The car was engulfed in silence as they drove. He drove to the shore of the beach and pulled over.
"Mai we're here" with that he and Mai got off the car and stood facing the calm face. Mai took off her shoes and went in to the sea and she was surprised to see Nary behind her. He wrapped his hand around her waist and pulled her closer to his chest and buried her face in her hair.
"Naru, are you alight?"
"No Mai, I am not okay. I just saw a small child lose his life due to his blood lose right front of me"
"Naru, you wouldn't have been able to save him even if you tried "Mai said.
"The same applies to you too Mai. Let's forget what we saw" Naru said. They stayed in each other's embrace listening the sound of waves.
"Mai, do you remember what I told you in the kitchen yesterday, well I found the answer to all of my distress and before you speak Mai hear me out. Mai, I can't bear to imagine you in someone else's arms and waking up with him in the morning. What's more I can't let you bear anyone's child but mine, the thought alone makes me pissed so Mai be mine forever. We can do whatever you want but please be mine" Naru pulled her closed.
Mai turned around to face Naru said "Naru I can forgive you but I can't forget it, but one thing we will take it slow" with that Naru lean down to capture her lips with his own.
