Christine
When I took my angels hand, I suddenly felt helpless. I could now clearly see that he was the Phantom, and yet, I wasn't scared at all. I felt an urge to express my thoughts as they entered my mind,

In sleep he sang to me, in dreams he came,
That voice which calls to me,
And speaks my name
And do I dream again,
For now I find,
The Phantom of the Opera is there
Inside my mind

I looked at my angel, my eyes consuming every single detail, from is luminous gold eyes, to his long fingers that were grasping a fiery torch.

Sing once again with me,
Our strange duet
My power over you,
Grows stronger yet,

I looked away, trying to see where we were. My Angel filled my mind, his strong voice singing out to me with the most power, and emotion I had ever heard

And though you turn from me,
To glance behind,
The Phantom of the Opera is there,
Inside your mind

A memory came flooding back to me of Joseph Buquet, and the other stage hands, telling us about how the Phantom wore a mask to cover a horrible distortion. That was when I realized that I was like his mask, and he was singing through me.

Those who have seen your face,
Draw back,
In fear
I am the mask you wear

It's me they hear,

Your/My spirit,
and My/ Your voice,
In one combined,
The Phantom of the Opera is there,
Inside My/Your mind

He guided me into a boat, and began to row swiftly. I looked around, and saw that the there were carvings on the wall of faces filled with wonder, and fear. It was as though they were telling me to look out in this beautifully strange labyrinth.

In all your fantasies,
You always knew,
That man and mystery

Were both in you

And in this labyrinth,
Where night is blind
The Phantom of the Opera is her/there inside my/your mind

He looked at me proudly,

"My Angel of Music!"

I looked at him in awe,

He's there,
The Phantom of the Opera!

"Sing!"

I began to vocalize as I never had before, reaching higher and higher until I reached notes I had never dreamed of.

The boat then stopped in a cavernous room.

He got out, and went to the organ, and began to play,

"I have brought you, to the seat of sweet music's throne, to this kingdom where all must pay homage to music,
Music,
You have come here,
For one purpose and one alone,
Since the moment I first heard you sing,
I have needed you with me,
To serve and to sing for my music,
My music

My heart began to race as he approached the boat, with his hand outstretched. I took it slowly, never drawing my eyes from his. And then he began to sing.

Nighttime sharpens,
Heightens each sensation,
Darkness stirs,
And wakes imagination,
Silently the senses abandon their defenses

I closed my eyes, and felt myself fall underneath his spell.

Slowly, gently, night unfurls its splendor
Grasp it, sense it, tremulous and tender

I sensed the night, and it was more beautiful than I could have ever imagined. I looked to my angel for reassurance, and he gently pushed my head so that I couldn't see him.

Turn your face away from the garish light of day
Turn your face away from cold, unfeeling light
And listen to the music of the night

Close you eyes and surrender to your darkest dreams
Purge all thoughts of the life you knew before
Close your eyes, let your spirit start to soar

The feeling of euphoria burst through me, and I felt like I was flying!

And you'll live as you've never lived before

He took my hand, and pressed it to his chest, and I closed my eyes and felt his heart beat, and let the music consume me

Softly, deftly, music shall caress you
Hear it, feel it, secretly possess you
Open up your mind, let your fantasies unwind
In this darkness which you know you cannot fight
The darkness of the music of the night

He led me up the stairs, smiling at me,

Let your mind start a journey through a strange, new world
Leave all thoughts of the world you knew before
Let your soul take you where you long to be
Suddenly, he swept up behind me, and pulled me to him. I let out a small gasp, then felt a smile spread slowly across my face. I touched his face, longing to stay like this forever.

Only then can you belong to me

Floating, falling, sweet intoxication
Touch me, trust me, savor each sensation
Let the dream begin, let your darker side give in
To the power of the music
that I write,
The power of the music of the night

He led me to a small closet, and opened. Inside was a mannequin in a wedding gown, but it looked just like me. I crept closer, and it let out at me. I fainted immediately. In the distance, I could hear an angel singing, and I smiled.
