chapter 3: a simple talk

KATHRYN'S POV:

The whole week was fun and today is FRIDAY! So, it would be the last day for the school days. I went to school early and it was already Mang Julio who drove the car going to school. I directly went upstairs and entered the room. My girlfriends, we're early so I got the chance to chitchat with them. Specifically, they are Tippy, Janella, Julia, and Mitch.

*krrrrrriiiiiiiiiiinnnnnnnng *
it's time for the flag ceremony. We lined up accordingly by section. I was at the back because I was kinda tall for them. And unfortunately,  I am beside *tenndeeeedennnnng* no other than KHALIL! MR. RAMOOOOOOS! as expected, he smiled at me. And I faked a smile.

The ceremony ended so we headed back to the classroom. It was kinda boring, so  I lowered down my head with my palm towards my forehead. And, the paper and pencil caught my attention. That's why I planned on sketching that mysterious guy's face. Based on the flashback I had from yesterday.

It was time for us to take our snacks.

To my surprise, the mysterious guy approached Khalil.

'you know him, Khalil?' I asked.
'yes, he was a classmate of mine at our previous school.' he replied.
'really?' I added.
'yep! by the way Kath. Meet my previous classmate his name is Daniel Padilla. Daniel meet Kathryn Bernardo obviously she's my classmate' Khalil said.

DANIEL'S POV:

she was eating dewberry, she offered me one. I didn't decline her offer so I took one piece.

'you're so kind to me!' I told her.
'no! I'm not kind you don't know me yet' she disagreed.
'No, you are!' I added.

She's just so kind. That's what others described her and they're right.

She's awesome. And I just found out she's very intelligent. 

But then, a certain girl captured my eye her name is Janella. She's so beautiful, I easily admired her because she's very wise and she has this angelic face! Her skin is as silky as silk that soothes the skin. Her brunette and curly hair that brushes in front of my eyes.

I can't bear but just stare at her. We had our literary pieces and that it was to have a journal. I wrote down all the aesthetics I had for her. I was dumb-founded staring at her because Kath whispered towards my ear.

'HI! DANIEL! :)'

we talked and talked and talked, I even asked her to help me out at my journal. We spoke towards each other, wherein nobody's watching and nobody's around. But our conversation was cut down because the bell suddenly rang.

She bid farewell and I did as well. I packed my books and things inside my backpack.

I watched Janella fade away.

that was only pure admiration, I would not consider it as a crush.

I headed home and checked on Khalil so that we could go home together because we only live in the same division.
