chapter 19

Nia's pov

I was in the office and I Said " my dad is in the hospital." The principal said "what about your mom?" I said " I don't have a mom." He said "who do I call then?" I said "Jack Johnson he is on my emergency contact."

He called him. Cindy came in the office. She had a bloody nose and her hair was all over the place. She looked at me and lowly said "I will date Hayes maybe even Mason." I loudly said "wanna fight?" Cindy got up and said "yes."

I got up and punched her in her face. I pulled her to the floor. I punching her in her face. I pulled her hair and ragged her around the floor in the office. I stood up and started kicking her and stepping on her. Then someone came in pulling g me off of her.

The person took me out the office. I turned around and it was JJ. He yelled "what a are you doing?!?!" I said "she wanted to fight me." JJ yelled "I don't care!!"

JJ signed me out and we left. He was yelling at me in the car. We got home and he yelled at me to go to my room.

I went to my room and tried not to cry. If Jack was here he would at least ask me what happened. JJ just yelled at me. Jack wanted me to go to school today.

Sam came in my room. He said "why was you fighting in school?" I said " at first I was going to class then some boy tripped me and made my nose bleed. He started fighting me then the girl jumped in. When she jumped in he stopped hitting me. So I started fighting her back. Then when we was in the office she said something about Hayes and I asked did she wanna fight and she said yes. So I punched her in her face and we fought." Sam said "that's a lot." I nodded my head.

Sam said " so at first you got jumped?" I nodded my head yes. Sam said "well you are suspended for the rest of the school year ." I sighed. I said " the year was almost over any way."

Sam said "come on Jack wanna see you." I said "but JJ is mad at me." Sam said "no he isn't come on." I nodded my head.

I went downstairs. Sam said " Nia tell JJ what happened." JJ said "come sit." I sat down next to JJ and I said "I was going to class then some boy tripped me and made my nose bleed. He started fighting me then the girl jumped in. When she jumped in he stopped hitting me. So I started fighting her back. Then when we was in the office she said something about Hayes and I asked did she wanna fight and she said yes. So I punched her in her face and we fought." JJ said " sweetie I'm so sorry for yelling at you." I hugged him. He said "go ahead with Sam,Jack wanna see you."

Sam said "let's go." I followed Sam and we got in the car.

We was at the hospital. Sam waited outside the room. I went inside. Jack cast on his leg was off. His arm was still broken.

Jack said "sit down!" I sat in a chair quickly. Jack said "why are you fighting in school?!?!" I lowly said "they started it." Jack said "I don't care, I'm in the hospital and you can't even behave." I said "it's not my fault Jack." Jack said "shut up I don't care!! The girl eye is swollen and her nose is broken!!!." I was about to cry. The nurse came in and Jack stopped yelling at me for a bit.

A tear fell out my eye. Jack didnt even let me tell my story. He was so mad at me. The nurse left. Jack closed the door. Jack said "your fighting for what?!?!?" I lowly said "they jumped me and she said something about Hayes." Jack said "wait,what,who jumped you?!" I said "a boy Zach and the girl I fought." Jack said " are you ducking serious?!?!?" I started crying. Jack came over to me and I flinched.

I thought he was gonna hit me. He picked me up and put me on his lap. Jack said "I'm Sorry baby." I didn't say anything. I just cried. Jack said "you are gonna stay with me tonight okay?" I nodded my head.

Jack kissed my cheek and said" I'm sorry baby,I should've asked first." Jack put me in the other bed. I stopped crying a little and went to sleep.
