The beast climbed back up the tower stairs, only to be stopped by Kakarot. "Uh, Master?"

"What?" He snapped back.

Kakarot jumped backwards a bit before resuming, "Uh, since the girl is going to be with us for quite some time... I was thinking that you might, uh, want to offer her a more comfortable room." The creature growled, blowing out the candles on Kakarot. "Then again, maybe not."

Vegeta walked into the cell to find the girl sitting on the floor crying.

"You didn't even let me say goodbye! I'll never see her again!" You sobbed into your hands. A wave of sympathy rushed over him, as Vegeta rubbed the side of his neck.

"I'll... show you to your room." He said softly, turning towards the door.

You looked up in surprise. "My room? But I thought..."

He glanced at her, growling. "Do you want to stay in this tower?"

"Well, no..." You shook your head.

"Then follow me," Vegeta replied, turning to leave. You quickly stood up and followed him not wanting to be left behind.

Vegeta walked down the tower steps and began leading you to your room. He was holding Kakarot up to illuminate the way, while you were walking behind him. The walk was silent and neither one of you said anything to each other. The beast turned down one hallway and it seemed to last on forever.

You began to sight around the place. It was quite dark and there were carvings of frightful creatures among the walls, as well as odd statues that looked like gargoyles and demons. You stopped to stare at a few, but quickly ran forward to catch up as you began to scare yourself with ridiculous ideas of what might happen if you got lost - all alone - in this castle.

The beast turned to look at you and noticed you wiping a few tears off your delicate face. He glanced forward feeling slight guilt for what he had done.

"Say something to her." Kakarot whispered into his ear. Vegeta looked at him for a moment before groaning.

"I, uh, hope you like it here." He said, looking slightly back to you, afterwards gazing at Kakarot to see him move his arms, signaling to keep going. "The castle is your home now so you can feel free to go anywhere you desire, except the west wing."

"What's in the west wing?"

"It's forbidden!" He yelled, turning to face you. His voice echoed through the large halls of the castle. You put your hands up to protect yourself. Vegeta just stared at you and then pulled his cape back over before continuing walking forward with you trailing behind.

It seemed like ages until you both finally reached a room at the end of the hall. Vegeta opened the door of the room for you and you walked in.

"Now, if you need anything, my servants will attend to you." He explained.

"Dinner! Invite her to dinner." Kakarot whispered. Vegeta glanced around before standing straight up.

"You will... join me for dinner. That's not a request!" He slammed the door on you. You slowly walked over to the bed, backing away from the door. You sat down and sadly looked around the room. You had to admit, it was a beautiful room. There was a vanity on the wall across from the bed with a large mirror and a small seat. The bed itself sat against the east wall. It was a canopy bed with a red rose carved into each post. A sheet of translucent magenta material fell from the top of the bed down to the posts. The sheets underneath you were a light blue, the backboard was an aqua and weaved into fancy swirls and shapes, there as well were purple, aqua, and blue pillows. To the right of the bed, stood an armoire. The room itself was white with a light blue design to it that went a quarter of the way up the wall. It was a marvelous room, perfect fitting for a spoiled princess. You weren't that pleased with that.
