Recap from Chapter 6:
The call was ended, and I returned to finishing my book. It had just hit 3k reads on Wattpad, and a publishing offer from Sourcebooks. My dreams are coming true.
I noticed screaming down the hall, which was just Serenity (a junior) and Becca (another junior) arguing about a guy, who was dating both.
“He’s my boyfriend. John is my boyfriend.” Serenity punched Becca in the arm. Becca looked about to cry.
“Did he tell you he loved you? He told me.” Becca rebuttled, pretty good for a girl, who hated nerds. Then, something weird happened. They walked towards the elevator in a robotic function. Uh oh.

I followed them a little ways before I noticed a high heeled shoe, coming out of the elevator. Angel. She seemed different.
1) Her hair was down, when usually it is in a high ponytail or bun.
2) She was in a one piece, and Angel swore last year to never wear one pieces.
3) She was wearing glasses.
She pinned her bangs out of her eyes, those blonde bangs I was always envious of. She handed the sophomores each a slip of green paper and pointed to the door of a room, my room. Wait, Angel is being used, by that black-haired lady. What was her name? Ah, Dolores.
“Ah Jane. I want you to get Jack to go out with you. You can do that, right?!” Angel said, when I saw the girl I had hated for most of my senior year. Jane. Why was she here? I thought she went to Oxford.
“So where is that boyfriend-stealing scum?” Jane asked, throwing her hands to her hips and looked around. Angel pointed to room 336, my room.
"She's in there, and don't you have a boyfriend?" Angel asked. Oh yeah, Jane was dating John now, the feminine nerd who seems to have a super crush on me. I wonder why she is dating him.
"So what's my job again?" Jane asked, filing her nails, long and French-manicured.
"You have to get Jack to break up with Alex, so we can take her down. Got it?!"
"Yep." Jane replied, strutting off, heading in the direction of the Alpha Millions.
I opened my window, and luckily, his curtain was up. He was walking and pacing, scratching his head, wearing his black RayBands that he really didn't need. He looked so cute. I started to text him.
ALEX: Jane's here.
JACK: You mean my ex?
ALEX: Yep, and Angel just sent her to get back with you.
JACK: ok. I will be over and will use the back way.
The back way is a secret entrance from my room to his, so we can see each other. I used it once, to say hi to Jack when I was supposed to be in my room. Jack got into my room, and we watched as the room was opened by Mikel, and we quickly closed the curtain.
"Hey, do you like me?" Jack asked me, making me wonder why he would ask that.
"Yes, very much yes." I responded, looking into his chocolate eyes.
"Then why would you try and poison me?" He screamed in my face, sending me into a coward.
"I didn't. At all." I yelled back, him getting meaner bu the millisecond.
"You know I am allergic to shrimp. Jane wouldn't try to poison me." Wow. Did he just diss me and compare me to Jane?
"Then date her." My eyes were pouring tears.
"Fine. Maybe I will."
He just broke up with me. He walked through the door, and Angel came through, giving me a hug. Or at least I thought it was Angel. When I looked up, Kim was looking at me. Where has she been?
"I'm so sorry. He wasn't right anyway." Kim tried comforting me, but nothing worked. He was perfect, and from what I could see, he was laughing with Jane. I closed the curtain. Then I went to sleep.
