You Suck at Love

'Today is gonna be the best day ever!' You thought as you shot out of bed. Today was your birthday and your 3 year anniversary with your boyfriend Natsu. You were hoping that he would pop the question soon, but so far you had no luck at getting it through his thick skull. You snapped out of your daydream and hopped in the shower. After getting dressed you decided that you wanted to head to Natsu's for lunch. But first you wanted to get an anniversary gift and food. You headed out the door and towards the center of Magnolia. After shopping around for a few hours you found he perfect gift, a ring shaped like a flame, with 'Forever' carved into the back. You quickly paid for the ring and headed to his favorite restaurant for lunch. After you grabbed lunch you headed off to Natsu's house in the woods. Arriving at the house you knocked on the door bags in hand. "Hello? Natsu?" You called grabbing the handle and realizing it was unlocked. You slipped into the kitchen setting the bags into the table. 'Is you still sleeping?' You thought giggling quietly walking towards his room. As you walked closer you heard the bed creaking. 'Weird, he's moving a lot' You thought placing your hand on the handle and swinging the door open. There right in front of your eye's was something you thought you never see in a million years. Natsu making out with Lucy, all their clothes discarded. '(Y/N)! It's not what it looks like!" Natsu cried getting off Lucy. "Really Natsu? How long?" You asked barely able to talk through your tears. "A few months" Natsu said looking at the ground in shame. "Fuck you Natsu! I thought we had something!" You said turning your back and charging out of the house all your bags forgotten. You took of running towards your house. You burst through door and flew up to your bedroom to have a good cry fest.

**** A few hours later ****

After crying for several hours you knew you had to force yourself to do something or you might never get up. You slide out of bed and walk slowly out the door towards the guild. Maybe you could have Erza beat up Natsu as your birthday present. You trudge through town and creak open the guild doors to all the lights off. You open the doors a little wider just to have the lights fly on and everyone scream "Happy Birthday (Y/N)!" You smile weakly. "Thanks guys." "(Y/N)! What's wrong? You look terrible!" Erza says walking over to you. "It's... It's Natsu. He cheated on me." You say collapsing into tears again. "Are you serious?! I didn't think he was that much of a flame-brain!" Gray says clenching his fists. "I agree! Natsu will pay for this!" Erza shouts raising her fist. Everyone in the guild raises their fist together. "No! It's fine! Just bring him here. I've got something to say to him." You say standing up and wiping your eyes. Erza unsurely nods and leaves the guild with Gray in tow. "Does anyone have a karaoke machine?" You ask.

**** Time skip brought by Natsu being a dumbass ****

You had just finished setting everything up when the guild doors swung open Erza carrying a limp Natsu. You walk up on the the stage and say "Hello Natsu" into the mic. Natsu looks up at you in suprise. "This is dedicated to you" you say as the music starts.

Everyone (besides Natsu) cheered at the fantastic way of leaving Natsu behind. You got down off the stage and headed in Natsu direction. "Here" You said handing him the ring you bought. "Happy anniversary." You said turning around leaving him in you past.
