You remember the first time you saw Natsu. 1864, right after President Lincoln was assassinated. You were the daughter of a rich family. Natsu was an actor that had caught your attention. Almost immediately you fell in love with each other. Your family was disgusted that you hadn't chosen another rich suitor. You were forbidden from seeing him, but disobeyed anyway, knowing fully well the consequences. You saw each other as much as you could. One night when you were together you were attacked by bandits. Natsu shoved himself in front of you and took several gunshots for you. That night an eternal anger was cursed upon you. You were cursed to live forever and see all the incarnations of Natsu.

2000. You met Natsu in a different incarnation. When you saw him again he was a young adult, a year or so older then your eternal 22 old body. You saw him with a beautiful girl on his arm. You see him glance in your direction. You feel like you see a flicker of recognition in his eyes, but it quickly disappears. You smile at him and speed walk out of the mall into the parking lot. As soon as you reach your car you begin to cry. Asking the world what you did to deserve this.

2260. You all but given up on marrying Natsu. You see him one more time in a park. You jog right past him figuring he's already got a girlfriend. However you can't help your self and turn around to glance at him. You see him staring at you and smile. He smiles and jogs to catch up to you.

"Can I take you on a date?" He asks. You smile, while on the inside you feel like screaming out in joy. You're one step closer to your happy ending! 6 years later you kiss your husband and child on the head, while snuggling with them on the couch.
