Dating can have pros and cons. Pro: you feel an emotional connection with someone. Con: you don't always see eye to eye despite your connection. Pro: when you're with someone it feels like you'll always be happy and feel amazing. This is a good description of how you feel with your boyfriend Natsu. He's amazing and makes you feel like you are the best person in the world.

Without you, I feel broke.
Like I'm half of a whole.

However when you fight you try your hardest to tear the other person down. Tonight was one of those nights.

"I hate you!" You scream storming over to the door and flinging it open.

"Oh so you're just gonna leave?! Well don't come back!" Natsu screams.

"I won't!" You scream back throwing the door closed and taking off into the downpour to your car. You hop in and angrily jam your keys into the ignition. You start up the car and take off down the road towards somewhere. You dig into your purse and find your phone. Pulling of to the side of the road you scroll down your contact list until you find someone you can trust. Your sister. The dial tone rings until she picks up.

"Hey (Y/N)! What's up?" She asks.

"C-Can I stay at your house t-tonight?" you say barely talking through your tears.

"Oh my gosh! Of course you can! Will you be okay to drive?" She asks.

"Yeah, I'll see you soon," you say hanging up the phone. You take a few minutes to collect yourself and start the car again. You slowly pull off the side of the road and head down towards your sisters house. You begin to think about Natsu and your memories with him. Tears begin to blur your vision, but you refuse to stop again. Turns out this was a bad idea as you were slammed off the side of the road and tumble right into a ditch, your last coherent thought being one thing. Natsu.

With you I fall.
It's like I'm leaving all my past in silhouettes upon the wall.

Natsu sits in your hospital room a week later remembering all of the fun you guys had. He remembers how pretty you looked at the mall where you met you and beautiful you looked on your first date. Think about these things pushes him over the edge sometimes, but it's all he has left of you. He doesn't even remember what caused you to fight that night. All he knows it that without you he feels like and empty shell of a person.

You wake up with a sharp ache all over you body and lights glaring at your face. You slowly blink as your eyes adjust and your ears pick up a steady beeping sound. You examine your surroundings and appear to be in a host pail room. Glancing to your right you find a mop of pink hair curled up on the chair next to the bed.

"N-Natsu?" You croak out. Instantly the pink hair glances up at you eyes wide.

"(Y/N)? Your awake?!" He says getting up.

"I'm so sorry (Y/N). This is all my fault, I love you so much. Would you forgive me?" He asked coming over and gently giving you a huge hug.

"Of course Natsu! I love you so much too, I hate to interrupt this moment, but could I get some pain medicine?" You ask.

"Oh, I'll get the doctors,"

****4 days later****

A few days after you wake up the doctors have given you the okay to go home. You and Natsu get into his car and he starts driving. You sit in silence until you notice he's gone past your house.

"Natsu? Where are you going? You passed out street," you say looking over at him.

"I'm taking you somewhere special," he says.

A few minutes later you arrive at a beautiful lookout over the California ocean.

"Wow, this is so beautiful!" You say getting out of the car and walking over to the edge.

"Not as pretty as what I'm looking at," he says. You turn around and see him looking at you. You roll your eyes but blush anyway. He comes and stands next to you to admire the view. Suddenly he grabs your shoulder and whirls you around so you're looking at him. He gets down on one knee and you knew immediately what was coming.

"(Y/N)? Why are you crying? I'm just tying my shoe," he looks up at you and grins. At the moment in time you seriously considering pushing him off the cliff and have to remind yourself that murder is illegal. And of course there's the fact you love the stupid prick.

"Well, since I'm down here, I might as well. (Y/N) I love you so much, would you do me the honor of becoming my wife?" You are snapped out of your thoughts as Natsu asks. You smile and pull him up.

"Of course you daft idiot!" You say kissing him.

"But I'm your idiot right?"

"Yeah you are,"
