Strong painful pounding in your head woke you up. As you sat up you rubbed your temples and looked around. Dim light shined far above you and barely exposed the room around you. Your short salmon dress was torn and stained. Dried blood covered your bruised knees and the heels of your hands. You were laying on a yellow bed of flowers.

Bennett was next to you, laying passed out in an uncomfortable looking position. You tried to wake him and shook him with your aching hands. "Bennett..? Bennett!"

You started to panic as you realized what had happened. There has to be a way out, right? What he had said last night about never returning was just teasing. At least, you hoped it was. "Bennett! How do we get out!?" Tears were dripping off your face and on to him.

He began to stir and woke up with a groan. "Where... Am I?" Bennett rubbed the back of his neck and sat up.

"I don't know! Is this a trick!? It's not funny..." You attempted to hide your face. Through your fingers you noticed your purse and reached out to grab it. You didn't remember bringing it.

"What trick?" He looked around and jumped up to his feet, startled. "Wha- Where are we?" He frantically tried to figure out how to get out.

You searched your purse for anything useful. All you could find was makeup. The makeup mirror, you decided, wasn't going to help much besides doing makeup itself. Of course it was like you to leave all useful things at home. After standing up and attempting to brush yourself off, you walked around and explored. "Bennett, lets look for a way out." You beckoned him.

He followed you and both of you walked through what looked like a worn down doorway. The breezy air seemed cold and added to the strange atmosphere. The ground seemed to crunch with every step. Upon closer inspection, you noticed it was covered in orange and brown leaves from various years. Your dress wasn't making anything better. It took effort now to keep it from exposing your underwear. The silence of the place seemed almost threatening.

"So, do you think we'll ever return home?" You broke the silence.

Bennett seemed to panic slightly. "I don't know..." He rubbed his arms and tried to warm up.

"You'll never make it home."

A strange voice replied to the conversation from ahead. Both of you jumped and you grabbed Bennett for comfort. "Who's there!?" He called out to the voice. It was obvious he was scared but wanted to show off.

In front of you a light began to shine and you could see the room clearly now. The purple walls were narrow, creating a passageway. In the middle was a single sunflower. It was bent forward and appeared to be wilted. You looked around for the suspicious person but found you were alone with the flower and Bennett.

"Show yourself!" Bennett's voice cracked.

"I am" With that the flower leaned up. It had a white bruised face and torn petals. You jumped and held back a scream.

"Wha-what happened to you?" Bennett stuttered.

"It was them! The others... They are merciless!" The flower laughed maniacally.

"The othe-"

"I'm Flowey! Flowey the flower!" He interrupted your question. "I really should be teaching you how things work down here, shouldn't I?" He paused a moment "... But I just cant. This world lives by the law... Kill or be killed. I'm just a weak little flower, so are you going to do it? Go ahead... kill me!"

You and Bennett stood there confused. "What do you mean? I didn't come here to hurt anyone. I don't even know where I am!" Your eyes were watering again. You weren't sure why but you were feeling sorry for the flower. "I want to help you..."
