Friday: 11:23 AM

You were packing your bags for the weekend trip. It was exciting, going to a private island with your two favourite people.

You never got the chance to explain to Yasmin about anything. You never told her that Mason was back to normal or that Suzy was out of the picture. You never told her about Brendan and him being FakeBrend in the group chat.

But none of that mattered for now because it was time to relax and get your mind off of everything.

You pushed your suitcase down with both your hands to zip it since, of course, you over packed. Doesn't hurt to be prepared. Once you zipped it fully, you sighed in relief. The three of you had to be at the airport in an hour and you still hadn't heard from Mason. He said that he would call when he was on his way to pick you up.

I should probably call to see where he is. You thought to yourself. Or I could log onto the group chat. Ever since dinner with Mason, you haven't logged onto the group chat. You didn't need to anyway. The only reason that you created your account was to see if Suzy and Mason were together. It was obvious that they weren't though. You had no doubt.

You walked to your dresser and got your phone. You dialed Mason's number and waited as it rang in your ear. After a few rings, you were connected.

"Hey Mason! I was just calling to see where you were. We have to be at the airport in like," You looked at the clock to check the time. "Like an hour. Not to mention that we have to get Yasmin too. I don't mean to be a bother babes, but I could really use some fresh ocean air right now."

You waited for a response. Nothing but white noise was played back into your ear.
"Mason you there? If I'm being a bother then I guess the private island will always be there, but our flight won't be. By the way, I know it's dumb since I'm the daughter of Big Hits owner, but I've never been to the island. What's it look like?" After saying this you heard a giggle at the end of the line.
"Uh, who is this? Mason this isn't cool." You scrunched your eyebrows in confusion. The giggle was very light and cute. It was cute, but mischievous. It definitely wasn't Mason.

Before you could say anything else, they hung up. You moved the phone from your ear and looked at it. Yep, it was Mason's number, but it wasn't Mason. Maybe he had a sister? You didn't think much of it, since time was ticking for your flight.

Guess I should call Yasmin.

You dialed her number and waited for her to pick up.

"Hey y/n I'm all packed, so pick me up whenever." She said cheerfully. You could almost hear the smile on her face.
"Hey Yas, I think we might have to meet Mason at the airport. He's running late." You paced your bedroom anxiously. You were always punctual and it felt weird to you to cut it so close.
"Of course he is. Oh when we get there I'll tell you what zodiac signs everyone was in the group chat. I've got it all figured out." You smiled. Yasmin was always on top of the zodiac signs. She was an expert at it.
"Ok I'll see you at the airport." You tapped your phone to hang up. You checked the clock again. 11:36 AM

You dragged your bags downstairs. Your dad went out earlier with his friends, so you couldn't say goodbye to him. You were still very shocked that he was allowing you three on the island. Usually when he wasn't there, most people weren't allowed to go. Guess there is an exception for his star singer and his daughter.

...

Having to drag your bags on the bus and to the airport was difficult. Mason would've carried them for you since he always thought you were struggling. You missed it when he would carry your bags because he was always worried that you would trip and fall. Nowadays he would always say how you should be more independent and do things on your own.
