Friday: Afternoon, Suzy's Point Of View
I was writing new lyrics for a song in the recording studio. Mason wouldn't stop bugging me. He poked my sides and lightly pulled my hair whenever he thought I was too focused.
"Can you stoooooop." I whined in my cutesie voice as I pouted and crossed my arms.
"Why are you working so hard? There's only a few more minutes." I looked at the clock. 6:23 PM. I smirked at him.
"You're right. I shouldn't be." I dropped my pencil and kissed him.
"Better?"
"Better." The butterflies in my stomach from being near him never stopped. I truly loved this boy.
"Ok, go say bye to your 'bros', I'll meet you at the elevator. With that, he left the room to find his friends. I heard a faint car door close from outside and made my way to the window.
"What the fuck..." I whispered to myself as I peered out outside.
I spotted y/n coming out of a taxi in front of Big Hit. Why is she here?
She suddenly looked up in my direction and forced me to hide behind a curtain. I narrowed my eyes, thinking of what to do next. She must be here to see Mason. I think I'm done playing games. This is quite boring.
I quickly packed up my things and draped my brown jacket over me. I then made my way to the elevator. Mason was standing there in all of his handsome-ness.
"Babes, I think I just saw y/n come in the building." I said concerningly.
"Oh yea... I was gonna ask her something,but..." He trailed off. I didn't like that way he sounded.
"Massey, I think it's time to tell her. You want to be with me right? I can be your girlfriend." I softly said as I touched his arm and lead him into the elevator.
"Y/n was never really my girlfriend, you know that. Now that you and I are sky rocketing in the music industry, we don't need a third wheel right?" Mason just made my heart beat faster and my breathe deep.
The elevator reached the lobby floor.
"Sooo Mason, you're telling me...?" I insisted as we walked out of the elevator. I knew y/n was somewhere in the lobby. She must have seen us because as I spotted her -with Brendan for some reason- with her mouth practically on the floor and the amount of water in her eyes could have filled a pool. But Mason had no idea."Thaaat means, you're my girlfriend." He said, his eyes sparkling with energetic love. I could barley breathe. I wanted to jump into his arm right there, but I had to do this strategically. It had to be a good show for y/n.
I held onto his arm and buried my face into it. Then I smiled brightly and squealed a bit as I kissed his lips passionately. I was too happy to even check her expression when I did it.
But I did see Brendan's scowl.
It sort of pissed me off that they were friends, but right now was the happiest day of my life. I officially had Mason for myself and I got to see y/n broken. Perfect.
"Y/n! So funny meeting you here." I said to her finally acknowledging her existence. I smiled at her, but tried to send her a little message: You've lost.
She ignored me and spoke to Mason.
"Mason, what the hell is this!?" She almost sounded like a child who had said a mean word for the first time. That made everything even better. I expected Mason and I to rub it in her face, but he decided to get serious. She didn't deserve respect from him."I told you I can't protect you. The truth is... I started dating you to get special treatment from your dad. Things were going well and then he allowed me to debut. After that, I tried to make it work for a bit, but...honestly, you're not my type y/n. Suzy is way more... well, she's way more a lot of things. No hard feelings right?"
