Blooming Stairs: 5:27 pm

You were resting on the bus. The events that happened only an hour before were already hazy. You weren't fond of thinking about it, so you didn't. You heard the bus tires screech to a stop as the bus driver announced that they arrived at the Blooming Stairs. To your surprise, you were the only one to get off the bus. It seems the stairs have lost their popularity.

When you were a child, the Blooming Stairs were where everyone went to have a relaxing evening. The stairs were built next to beautiful evergreen bushes and cherry blossom trees, which was how they got their name. Your parents used to take you there all the time before they became busy.

As you made your way to them, you realised that they looked exactly the same as they looked years ago. You smiled to yourself. You were happy that it was just you, it was quiet and peaceful. You could do whatever you wanted to.

You made your way down the long stairs, stopping in the middle. You placed a blanket on the platform of the stairs and laid down. You stared at the clouds and imagined them as objects or animals. You made your own story with the clouds. You controlled the outcome of it unlike the one that you were living out everyday.

You sighed in content. You wished that it could be like that forever. You didn't want to think about how your parents were always away or how alone you were at home alone. You didn't want to think about the nauseous relationship with you and Mason. You didn't want to think about the Pisces bitches and their unfair way of fighting with you. But you couldn't help it. The thoughts floated back into your view. The puffy white clouds seemed to turn grey now. Covering the lagoon like sky with their dark heavy grey color.

You realised that it wasn't your imagination when it began to rain. "Shit..." You mumbled to yourself as you gathered your blanket and ran for cover under a tree.
"You couldn't give me ten more minutes... An Aquarius doesn't always like rain ya know.."

...

You waited for thirty minutes and the rain never stopped. It never lightened. It stayed dark, wet, and sad.
"Looks like it's time to go." You looked towards the bus stop. There wasn't cover to hide from the rain. The next bus was twenty minutes away and standing out in the rain getting soaked would catch you a cold. The tree that you were under wasn't giving you mutch protection either.

You bent down and grabbed a stick. You moved leaves around in puddles and ripped petals apart. Then suddenly, it wasn't raining on you.

You looked forward. It was definitely still raining. You looked up. Someone was holding an umbrella over you. You slowly stood up and faced them. It was a guy about your age.

He was thinner than most guys and paler. He had brown hair with bangs. We was tall. Very tall. You'd guess about 6'3. The uniform that he was in made him look even taller. He had in black earnings and a shy smile.

"Hi." His voice was sort of deep and friendly. You were pretty shocked. One, noone came around here. Two, he was very handsome. Three, he was holding his umbrella over you.

"I was walking up the stairs when I saw you stranded under this tree." He looked down at his shoes. So he gets nervous huh. You weren't sure what to say.

"Th..thanks." You managed to do a little head bow to show that you were thankful.
"Are you going to the bus? I could wait with you until it comes."
"Oh no you don't have to do that. You probably have to be somewhere." His brown eyes looked at you with such intensity. Like he was making sure to understand every word you said.

"I can't just leave you out here in the rain. Really, it's no biggy." He chuckled a little as he said that. He gestured for the both of you to start walking up the stairs. You decided to start a little conversation.
