|Lyla's POV|

Whoosh!

I could get use to fast transportation.

Again we were back to a land where clouds were everywhere and they looked like cotton candy. This time of day, the skies looked pink like strawberry sparkling champagne.

We stood in front of a rock like cave-house. Shadows dancing could be seen from outside. I was surprised that a house made of rocks was even able to float on a cloud. To see inside the cave, we had to walk up the cotton candy fluffy looking stairs. They were so soft when stepped on!

I hadn't realised that Sariel didn't even let go of one of my hands, as he dragged me behind him up the stairs.

"Adonai!" if there was a door, I would've knocked. But Sariel thought it was more polite to call out the person's name.

I'll admit, this part of heaven was a little frightening. Everywhere I looked there was a sense of darkness. The fireplace was lit, metal rods were glowing orange and thrown over a stone made stool, there were even hammers and swords hung on a nearby nail to a wall.

My eyes closed instantly when I saw the fire's light flicker in the direction of a man who was working in a corner, with no shirt. I only assumed if he had no shirt then maybe he had no pants. I'd seen angel figures that were naked, maybe they really did that in heaven too, only at their own leisure, and we caught him at a bad time.

"What are you doing here, Sariel? I thought you were given a task in the human world" a rough, really deep voice, retorted back.

Was it possible that angels could sweat like a human would? It seemed like this part of cottoncandy land was filled with the scent of sweat and smoke.

"Yeah, I am. I just need some weapons. I know you make the most reliable ones. I need some for her. She's a rookie angel, and it seems the demons are on to us, so she needs to protect herself" Sariel summed up.

"Fine. But you owe me one" I heard footsteps padding my way, "What's wrong with her eyes?" he asked, all serious.

I opened one eye, almost receiving a heartattack when I was face to face with a hard-looking six pack. I immediately looked down, and was relieved to see black jeans covering his lower region. Were all these angels six feet and over?

"What's wrong with you, Lyla?" Sariel tapped on my cheek, as if he was waking me from a deep sleep.

"N-nothing" I shook my head, trying to shake off the feeling of being intimidated by tall angels.

"Here" I looked over at Adonai who was already holding a weapon in his hand. "I'm going to give you the basic weapons that every angel needs" he placed the beautifully carved weapon into my hands.

"Did you make this? It's so beautiful" I traced the carved in curves on it's golden handle.

"All of the weapons you find here, are Adonai's handy work" Sariel answered. "He's a blacksmith angel"

Adonai took over the conversation, "Every angel needs an Angel Blade. Just one jab into the demon's chest and it should be into ashes, sending it back to hell. Of course it also has it's weaknesses. Angels can also die until this blade, and it only weakens Bedevil or Fallen angels, and hellhounds. It only works on demons or evil souls. Powerful diabolical souls who are close to Lucifer have also found these blades to kill angels"
