The complex situation of an egotistical-recovering vampire falling in love with a human (well slightly human, shhh)...
___
"You know, I think I like you. Even if you're a little crazy" followed a voice after me.
I turned around, wide eyed and surpri...
It was a known fact among supernatural creatures, that demon venom lurked in their pointed finger nails, especially the index finger. If you were human and got attacked by one of those things, you'd die within an hour.
But she wasn't human. She smelled enticing.
I'd gotten that part patted down. Especially, since her wounds were smoking rather than dissolving her flesh.
And everyone knew, in the supernatural world, if you had gotten attacked by a foul creature like a demon, you couldn't get cured without a little vampire blood. Now there were different ways you could enter the blood into the victim.
In this case...
I panically bit her.
Now that I thought about it, I didn't have to bite her. I could've pinched my finger with one of my fangs and rubbed my blood on every scratch and cut I saw. But was it enough? Would I survive the cruelty of not being closer to her?
Although, I bit her and injected my venom that I knew killed supernatural black magic in helpless beings, at the sametime something tugged inside me.
Since she wasn't human...
her bite disappeared within minutes.
I'd caught her red handed. She definitely wasn't human. And that's probably the reason why she looked so alluring.

|Lyla's POV|
I woke up to a familiar unwanted face. I froze and stood staring for a few long moments, at a pair of hazel eyes.
"Do you feel alright?" he broke the ice off the silence.
"What happened?" last thing that was stuck in my head was working at the bar, like every night.
"You were attacked by a demon, I suppose" he looked at me hesitantly as he said the word demon. Like I would flip on him or something. Good thing I became an angel before this fiasco, right?
I'm being sarcastic -_-
His eyebrow pulled up when he realised that I wasn't freaking out on him, "You're aware of demons?" he asked for assurance.
"I've heard of them" I nodded causally. "According to my knowledge, they are quite deadly. Did one of them get to me? Did I get scratched or something?" I recalled Sariel freaking out on me, asking me if I had been attacked by one, when I told him I saw my first diabolical soul.
"No, not that I could find" he assured.
"Are you sure?" I sat up in the bed I just now realised I was in. Memories were hitting my brain in a matter of seconds, "I could've sworn that I had a wound stinging" it was all coming back to me. The ugly face of a demon and the salvation act from this guy from the ugly thing.
