I was finally home, when Sariel walked out my kitchen with a bag of kit kat chocolates in hand.

"How was work?" Sariel greeted as he munched on his chocolate.

"It was okay I guess, I had to deal with some tough customers and such. Hey, where'd you get that? I don't eat kit kats and I thought the fridge was empty"

"I stocked your fridge up. Welcome!" he plopped his butt on the couch and turned the t.v on.

"You what? How?" I asked walking to the fridge and opening it to see the glory of food.

"Remember I'm an angel? That means magic is on my side, yes?"

I digged into my fridge and rummaged through all the processed junk food that magically appeared in my fridge.

"Where's the strawberries and lettuce?" I asked. I needed my veggies and fruit.

"There hiding in the back. I think I know you better than you think" he scoffed getting ahead of himself.

I scrunched my nose at that response. Nobody would ever really know me. Even if I got married and stayed with that person for more than a decade. There were just somethings that weren't ever meant for sharing and reminiscing. Especially, if I didn't want to rip the just formed scab on the wound.

"I'm going to sleep. You don't mind sleeping on the couch for one more day, right?" I asked.

"Sure" he retorted sarcastically, "I love a good stiff back in the morning. Don't worry"

"I figured" I mocked, walking into my bedroom.

At 9 o'clock in the morning, I was up and about in James' room. I figured that Sariel was getting fed up with the idea of not having a bed two nights in a row. The poor thing deserved at least a nice mattress to stretch on for being the only company I had now.

I walked to the kitchen for my morning coffee and spotted Sariel off the couch and on the floor, softly snoring.

"Morning, potato" I poked at his back with my toe.

He let out a muffled groan of annoyance.

"I made coffee. By the way, you're now officially my roommate. You have a room" I teased.

He instantly hopped into a standing position, and at the same time took a cup of coffee out of my hands. My eyebrows shot up at his eagerness to wake up. His grin even made me laugh.

"It's a lovely morning!" he chanted walking into his new room.

He took a good look at his new room and nodded approvingly, "Let's go out for breakfast?"

"You just stocked up the fridge, you sure you wanna spend more money on food?" I laughed.

"Money to me is like magic" he snapped his fingers and I swear I saw fairy dust come out of his fingers for a second.

I was well wrapped around the concept of supernatural creatures and magic. I believed it now.

"Alright, I'll change and you get ready too"

I was going to wait for Sariel, thinking that I had finished changing first. But that wasn't entirely true. I had found a post-it on my door that read:

Meet me at the local diner! ~S

Okay, first, how was he so fast on his feet? And second, why would we go alone, if we were living in the same apartment? He was almost treating this like a... date.
